Maggs must be retained as DOR to give some continuity.
The club does not have enough money for a revolution.
DOR which meet the Moseley requirements do not come cheap
Evolution seems to be the way forward.
Maggs will not let Moseley down.
Moseley also needs to retain key players ,the core of the squad should be on two year contracts.

I'm sure Kevin Maggs will apply for the job and I'm also sure he'd make a good fist of it. However I'd want to know who was in the field first before nailing my colours to any one person's mast.
At the end of the day Kevin has been a great player at the very top of the game but that doesn't make him a great coach (yet) and he is realtively inexperienced as a coach.
Time will tell who has applied and been succesful and I'm sure the challenge and pedigree of the club (if not the salary) will attract some quality applicants.
Thought Ale's suggestion of Paul Grayson was an interesting left fielder. He's very weel regarded at Saints I believe.

I'm all for consistency and Kevin should and I'm sure will be given the utmost consideration for the role. Paul Grayson is very well thought of at Saints, his main problem is that Dorian West is as well, who has a long standing working relationship with MallInder, who has clear ideas of the way he wants backs to be coached and play (and mighty good he is at it). Therefore Grayson's options are a little limited for progression in the very near future, although I'm sure his salary is better currently than that Mose can offer. He is a positive guy with quietly assured ambition, couple of successful seasons with a championship club as DoR wouldn't be necessarily be a backwards step or gamble. His connections are first class
in the game and if he put his hat in the ring, it could be interesting, and his commute would be far from daunting.
