This looks (barring Spivey's injury) to be pretty much the same squad as for the Esher game.

How unfair, they will need to find something else to accuse the coaches of this week

... if indeed such creatures exist.
I can't speak on behalf of others who have raised concerns over this season's disjointed selection policy but for myself I'm pleased to see such continuity in selection. I assume David Lyons is not fit after picking up an injury last week?
Hopefully the boys will be on the up after last week's excellent performance and can deal with the inevitable backlash from Esher. A win at the Piles Data Arena (or whatever) is a big ask but as they showed last week there are no challenges in the playoffs that the boys are not equal too if they get the attitude and intensity right.

The guys performed really well last Friday and sticking with a winning team has to be good. However, Esher will look to do something different tomorrow and if their tactics looks like they are having an effect we need to have 'plan B' to cope with them. Our bench looks capable of doing this if required, but we must be prepared. We need to keep Mr Ulph quiet again. It would be great to go into the Plymouth match already guaranteed safety.

"Despite the pre-season change of coaching staff and their roles"

If I remember correctly what was announced was that Maggsy was coming in as a direct replacememt for Don Caskie as backs coach? Did something change?

Just read the 'whats new 'part of our site and it says:

"Moseley Rugby Club is delighted to announce the appointment of former Irish International Kevin Maggs as backs coach for the 2010-11 RFU Championship season. Kevin will assist Head Coach Ian Smith and combine the assistant coaching role with playing responsibilities. Kevin’s appointment follows the departure at the end of August of Don Caskie who is taking up a full time role as backs coach of the Georgian National Team up to the World Cup in October 2012".
Suppose its how one interprets playing responsiblities.

Any official news on his injury? I for one think that his performances have really improved as the season has gone on and he has been given some more game time.

I'd like to think that he would be available for the last 2 games after Esher.

We've got to make sure we watch out for kicks as Esher have what must be the biggest end zones ihave ever seen in rugby. Perhaps we could use this to our advantage?

Having been to both, Esher take the palm, and if you do a Google Earth I think that confirms it, though as the aerial shots were taken during summer, the rugby markings are largely absent from the ODP. The in-goals at Molesey Road seem to be about the maximum permitted, around 20m deep.

I thought the minimum is 6 metres and the maximum was 11 metres for the in goal area.

The max allowed according to IRB law 1 is 22 metres, which esher have.

That would be correct for RL. For RU, it should be at least 10m and not more than 22m.
