In reply to: Paul Bradley 's message, "Bees v Mose match preview" on "Thu, Apr 07 2011, 14:57:24 GMT"

Well. Brian Dick thinks that Bees will win on Sunday. I have my doubts but I also have no doubts that this game is an awfull banana skin waiting for Moseley. My heart says Moseley will win, though I do fear for them because although Bees are not a good side - and neither are they a bad side - they are, like Moseley, inconsistent. If Bees have a good day and Moseley have a bad day then Bees will prevail. However, if Moseley continue in the manner they have found then Moseley will win.

But that is not all. Bees tend to play to and around their individual strenghths in particular Simon Hunt whilst Moseley tend to play towards a more collective strength in paricular their pack. But whilst a good pack can make the hard yards, a fleetfooted and elusive winger - or centre for that matter - can unpick all that graft in the blink of an eyelid. Hunt doesn't play sevens for England because his name is right; it is because he IS a VERY GOOD winger. He can run through good defenders - ask chevy or Bev Armitage and can turn most defenders inside out and make them look a right wally in the process without batting an eyelid. And he has even more attributes. He can distract defence into trying to shut him down but then he creates space for others to off load to. He is a very, very dangerous player and should really be playing at premiership level - not down here with us in the championship.

I can make the game on Sunday and I am already fretting on the outcome. Nonetheless, come on Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose.

Phil mate, we'll all be fretting on the outcome until the final whistle unless Mose are 20 points up with only 5 mins to go. Shame you can't make it, can you record your distinctive call so we can play it at crucial moments?

... LEY!

Why hasn't hunt gone to a bigger club, does he have strong links to bees or does he only turn up on against us :o(
