When will day shift treat their senior staff correctly? Always in units. Except for some that never go in them. Rogers,Daury,Nickandros,Poirier and there are more. No offense Southworth in the V.T. Didn't you get booted from property for a lot of allegations? Then your in the yard for a rotation, now the V.T. Foster on O.P. give me a break. How come the only ones with time in like Bardier, Nord, get to choose where they want to go?

Kudos to Capt. Tarantino, and Lt. Burke for taking all the senior staff out of the housing units. And putting all the fresh meat in there where they belong. Days should try that, but I am sure that won't happen because it is so quiet on days with senior staff in the units. The Lt's and Captains don't have to work. So keep putting the new guys in front, the yard, and all the other useless spots, and it will eventually bite you in the ass.

we need to vote all the e-board incumbents out of office in this next election. We are losing at every turn.
1) no raise
2) 5% increase in out health insurance.
3) we lost holiday pay. about $5,000/yr per officer.
4) no political clout even though we give several thousand dollars to several politicians.
5) President Steve kenneway has provided no leadership.
6) Legislative Rep. Joe Gaurino is a no show.
7) Executive Secretary Henry Harris is not even a correction officer-he is a brownshirt maintenance worker from shirley med.
8)Grievance Coordinator james Nason admits he still does not know his job and needs more time to learn.

This union has gone downhill for the past six to eight years under the so called leadership of these guys.

they might be good guys I don't know any of them. This is nothing personal. but they have had there chance.

Lets vote in some hardworking, smart and solid union guys who will work hard for us and NOT sell us out.

Not trying to offend anyone but why is Sgt. Reardon, and C.o. Hauswirth going down to the Vehicle Trap again. They just both did 2 years straight down there, out for a year, and now down there again. Come on there are many Sgt's that have never been down the V.T. And many C.o.'s that have never been down there. You wonder why the morale is so bad.
