This is true, but what I was getting at was:
How many times have you chosen a quest, went off to accomplish the quest, came back, and the PC who handed it to you was dead, or it took you several days to run into him again to turn over what ever and to get paid?!?
How many times has a person been a member of a house, and never was able to get paid because he/she never ran into a noble to receive payment?!?
How many people did you know that played a member of a house, do nothing but draw a paycheck?!?
How many people do you know of that always complains about never getting their pay?!?
What does everyone think about a merchant who we'd pay money to to post a message, and whoever brings proof of that mission being completed recieves the money that was giving to the merchant (of course minus a small merchant fee and taxes)?!?
How many people do you run into in the bars looking for jobs, knowing that they're are openings on the message board, but they can't take the jobs, because no one is around to explain it to them, or recruit them into house/clan/milita/whatnot?!?
>I mean, you want something done? Tell people in the
>tavern about it, why wait for them to come to you when
>you can come to them?
Besides, how does someone look for a job in RL?!? do they sit and wait for it?!? not really... do they look at a message board and say wow, look, Such and Such inc. is hiring testers to try out there new line of This and That, I think I'll wait here for a representive?!? well, that's getting closer, but no... we go out, apply for the job, and then we get it... in RL people wait for applicants to come to them... really...
Anywho, that's my take... I guess Frog and I have 2 different opinions... anyone else care to add?!? Frog, any more comments?!? I'd be happy to discuss this more in detail...
