Is there nothing we can do? I trully believe this will be our last year. ( prob what CLC want) I can rent a 1 bed for less than £300. I own 2 x 1 bed at Monterey and it was over £1300 and increase of £400 sterling on last year. If anyone is interested in buying Week 29 or 30 in Apt E609/610 let me know. Karen

We have also found places to stay that are in rci units Did you ever receive info on the new rules on members not paying fees that clc now do not just take back units but charge more money and claim through a third person

Should you be giving them back after recieving your bill, then it is to late, for this year. However so long as you send back your certificate before november this year then you will not recieve a bill for next year. On the other hand you can just not pay the fees and eventually the club has the right to take them off you. What you must remember is that although the fees are very expensive this year that is due to CLC charging in euro's, and the exchange rate is very low. I must agree CLC are charging an exorbitant rate for the service we are getting, but then they dont want weeks owner's on site anymore. As far as I am concerned the Paradise club has gone down hill.

I just stuck to the original paradise rules and signed returned the deeds as per the consitution to First National Trust in march last year.As long as you stick to the rules there should not be a problem.
