Hi Angela

Palm Tree Leisure are on Crimeshare's blacklist. Although this doesn't guarantee that they are a scam (Crimeshare lists all companies that people have had problems with) you should never have to pay up front if you've been approached. The only time you should pay anything upfront is if you have chosen to advertise the timeshare for sale and then the cost should be only the price of the advertising. Sales commissions should only ever be taken AFTER the sale is completed. Don't ever supply bank details as any proceeds from a sale can be sent as a cheque/bankers draft and deposited by you. There are a lot of dodgy operators out there.

Ray

Hi Folks
I have recently been approached by Palm Tree Leisure with a quote rather higher than I would have expected for my two weeks at Club Flamingo, Tenerife.
Apparently a corporate client of theirs is buying up timeshare as a means on reducing their tax liablity? They sound very genuine and friendly and all they want from me is to lend them 950Euros whilst the deal goes through. They recredit your account on completion. Sounds like a good deal to me. The trouble is that I have already tried on three occasions to sell my timeshare through similar companies and in every case there has been a sudden loss of interest after I have paid my registration fee or security bond. I lost my money every time with, as far as I could see, no attempt what so ever by them to fulfil the contract. In two cases I was assured that the client had already paid them a deposit on the purchase, but mysteriously withdrew when it came to the crunch. So do you think I have found a reliable company at last to do business with? I am a trusting sort of chap and I can't believe that I will be deliberately defrauded by these people. Thanks for reading this. Mike

IF THEY WANT MONEY UP FRONT IT'S A RIP OFF, you can be sure of that.
Big sale price = no buyer

DO NOT PAY ANYBODY MONEY UP FRONT YOU WILL LOSE IT.
Let me guess, the phoned you out the blue, offered you a silly price much more that it is worth, said we have a buyer.
How many times have I heard this one, and people keep falling for it.
