Quote "He plays a grumpiest old farmer dad".
Since Casa Vita "follows a young man (Bilodeau) living on an Iowa farm", I imagine Joe could play his father. Only presumptions.

Nancy, Judy A's Eastertime note on this message board said he'd signed to do the movie. IMDb said it's Casa Vita. Isabelle's got it right. I don't know WHEN OR WHERE we can see it, but I check on it a couple of times a week at IMDb, etc. Isabelle seems to stay up to date on things, sometimes better than I do. I wish Joe would update his Twitter page, but it looks like when this webpage was shut down, he also stopped updating Twitter. I'm thinking back to his comment YEARS back, he said he didn't like computers, but knew he needed to use them. Maybe he's just taking a break from social media, & will at least pop into Twitter some day soon. We just need to keep checking the websites of Joe's movies, & IMDb, & piece it all together. That's what I've been doing.

Thank you Holly and Isabelle, As you say, we will just have to wait and see. Not much else to do since he isn't keeping in contact with his fans. How sad! I check his twitter page now and then to no avail. I think "friends of Joe" is on facebook and twitter but I don't know if Joe goes to facebook. Thanks for the information. At least the message board here hasn't been shut down too. At least not so far.
Take care,
Nancy in Indiana

Nancy, exactly correct; we wait & hope! I do think Joe's a sweetie, & isn't TIRED of us loyal & loving fans, I think he's just never been much of a "techie". He's not ever been on Facebook that I know of, & in fact, he & his wife, Kirsten restricted their kids from FB, too. Safety first! I'm on FB more often than Twitter, but this message board is the ONLY place I check daily. Hopefully, this place will remain for us to visit about Joe! Just curious: have you ever met Joe Lando? I never have, but those who have seem to have really enjoyed it.

Hi Holly,

I do belong to twitter but not facebook. No, I have never met Joe. Once when Joe was on vacation and stopping off in Illinois to spend time with his family, I thought I saw him where I work. This guy could of been his double baseball cap and all. He looked at me as he walked by and smiled. I was like, Oh my God! So, that is the closest I ever came to seeing Joe in person. His double!

Take care,
Nancy in Indiana

Nancy, was your job in Indiana at that time, or Illinois? If I'd been in your shoes, I would have politely asked the guy if he was Joe Lando. All he could have said was, "No." I met 2 of my good friends that same way. I also met some neat folks just asking. I thought one guy looked like Brett Hull (NHL), turned out he WAS. Still talk to Brett once in a while. Ya' never know!

Hi Holly,

I was working in Indiana and still am with the same store. Turned out he was with the construction crew that was remodeling the store. So unless Joe moonlights as a construction worker between movies, I sincerely doubt it was him. Unbelieveable how much he resembled Joe. I have heard that we all have a double. Wouldn't that be interesting if we met up with our own double some day.

Take care,
Nancy in Indiana

Nancy, I've had 2 people that I used to baby sit for ask me why I didn't say hello to them when they saw me somewhere. I asked each one what day/time they saw me; was NOT me they saw. Apparently, there once was a gal in Houston, TX., in my area, that looked like me. One sighting was at a Burger King just 2 blocks from my old apt., the other time was at our Galleria. Wish I'd seen her, too.

What a cutie that construction worker must have been! I wonder if he ever got asked, "Excuse me, but are you Joe Lando, the Actor?" LOL! Hope you have a blessed week, & happy Halloween!

Hi Holly, I was away for the weekend in Illinois visiting my friends. I had the double experience happen myself. Two different people thought I had quit my job and was now working at Taco Bell. They said the girl looked just like me and was working at the counter. I didn't go there to check it out. Now I am sorry I didn't. Have a Happy Halloween.

Take care,
Nancy in Indiana
