In reply to: Betty Brumfield 's message, "I am wanting to buy a shell and finish it out my self" on 19:49:25 10/02/10 Sat

There are several steps to go through to decorate a shell. First you should draw out what you are wanting so that you have a game plan. Then decide if you want the lace colored or white or buy it precolored. Then you decide how much rhinestones to put on the dress. If you have a business liscense you can get them for much cheaper. Most dresses have between $200-$1000 worth of rhinestones. Lace is something that you must search and search for. My husband was able to pick me up boxes full of lace when he travels. If you dont have any stores near you(Hobby Lobby, Joanns, etc) then you can search ebay and like stores for it. Always buy a little more lace than you think you need. Then you must add the rhinestones and other items to the lace. The final step is adding the touches to the bodice.

Good luck. If you decide you need help let me know. Decorating a bodice can be fun but very stressful. I have a few more openings for this year.
