Subject: Finally!

As usual it is my curse to usually be the absolute last person on earth to get a new toy. Even kids in 3rd world countries get the newest toys before me. I Finally got my RX-78 version 2.0, i got it off HLJ. Reason it took so long is my friend ordered like 12 master grades and i asked him to just tag on a rx-78 version 2 to the his order cause he owed me some money. But since my friends a cheapo and wanted to save on shipping so he waited till eveything he ordered was in stock to ship instead of just shipping what was in stock right away. So 4 1/2 months later i finally have it! Sure it may have been released staeside but mines got panel lines and a morning star ;-p. I think i want to pick up the US one and try to repaint it to look like this custom

I wonder what type of paint the customizer used? Thats real smooth, thats what i want to try and do if bandai doesnt beat me to it.

I'm also stocked cause my Volks dolls are finally going to ship pretty soon. Finally my volks ranma 1/2 customs can progress, now i just got to order two male n type bodies from another place and i'll be all set.

I've got an odd customizing question, can balsa wood be smoothed enough to look sort of metallic like a sword? Like could it be coated with something to not have a grainy appearence?

and if anyones bored check out this MSIA custom gallery its where the rx-78-1 is from. The guys there have a very nice zeonic front Zaku, and some GM snipers.
