2014 TEEN & QUEEN PAGEANT
I am the Director of the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Teen & Queen Pageant and would like to announce our 2014 pageant date. Our pageant will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. on the campus of West Virginia University-Parkersburg in their Multi-Purpose Room.
One day of competition with two crowns being awarded. There will be four runners-up, a Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic winner in each division.
MISS PARKERSBURG HOMECOMING FESTIVAL 2014 will receive:
$1,200 Scholarship
Plaque
Sash
Floral Bouquet
Gift Basket from area businesses
Lodging at the Blennerhasset Hotel during our festival
Expenses paid to compete in the 2015 Miss WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant
2 Parent Tickets to attend the WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant
1st Runner-up Plaque
2nd Runner-up Plaque
3rd Runner-up Plaque
4th Runner-up Plaque
Miss Congeniality Plaque
Miss Photogenic Plaque
MISS PARKERSBURG HOMECOMING FESTIVAL TEEN 2014 will receive:
$500 Scholarship
Sash
Floral Bouquet
Plaque
Gift Basket from area businesses
Lodging at the Blennerhassett Hotel during our festival
Ticket for herself & one parent to attend the 2015 WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant Finale

4th Runner-up Plaque
Miss Congeniality Plaque
Miss Photogenic Plaque
Areas of competition for everyone will include: Personal Interview, Interview Attire and Evening Gown. The Top 10 finalists in the Queen Division will also compete in On-Stage Interview and Evening Gown.

ENTRY FEE Queen $130 and Teen $100. NOTE: Entry fee is non-refundable UNLESS you enter and win another West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals title PRIOR to our pageant date.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Postmark by: Tuesday, July 9, 2014.
Both pageants are open state-wide.
Queen contestants must be 16 years of age by January 1, 2015 and MUST NOT have reached their 22nd birthday BEFORE January 1, 2015.
Teen contestants MUST BE 13-15 years of age by July 26, 2014 (the date of the pageant).
The 2014 Parkersburg Homecoming Festival is scheduled for August 15-17, 2014.
