We had selected the final competition date of Sunday the 25th to buy, but we have never been before and are not sure what they do at the final competition. Do they do everything again? like swimsuit and gowns? or is it just an onstage question? sorry for my ignorance but I've never been before and I don't know what tickets to get. In 2007 my mother was diagnosed with a rare form of Lou Gehrig's disease or ALS called Primary Lateral Sclerosis it is so rare that only 1 in 10,000,000 people get the disease and there are only 501 documented cases in the US. I am one of the WV State Ambassadors for SPF.org. I am currently running a fundraiser through Avon from Oct. 9-16,2009 for SPF.org in her honor because her birthday was October 9th and we weren't sure we were going to have her another year so we are celebrating her life by raising funds for the organization. Hot Pink interview suit- Good for either teen or Queen. It was a 6 altered to about a 4. It was customized with rhinestones and apligues on jacket. Beautiful! $100 Simple grey pinstriped interview suit. Size 5 never worn still has tags. $25 White interview suit with pearl buttons. Size 3. $50 Navy Blue pick up skirt with lots of beading!! Maggie Sottero size 6 with a criss cross back. This dress is beautiful! Great for Proms or Teen Dress. $275 A White Jovani dress with Black appliques and rhinestones. Shows great on stage. Halter styler with a V back. No split but one could be put in easily. $250 Looking for a mermaid dress? Its a Jovani but has been completly customized with rhinestones and has a fluffy bottom. Off white. If I was still in teen competition I would never sell this dress! $500 OBO White Crown Collection Size 8 altered to a 4. Paid $1300 selling for $600. Flows beautifully! "I'm excited about raising money to help kids with special hearts. Please help me save lives and be a Heart Hero! Did you know the world is full of heroes, but sometimes we never hear about them? This is the first year for the titles of Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss and Young Miss. We are excited to bring back the titles of Balloon Festival Teen and Balloon Festival Queen for the second year! Our pageants will start at 8:00 am with the Tiny Miss pageant and will follow with the Little Miss, Junior Miss then Young Miss. It is hard to determine exactly what time our Teen and Queen pageants will begin as we have 42 fantastic contestants in our Junior Royalty pageants. My guesstimate is between 11:15 and 11:30. I could be wrong! I am thrilled to announce that one of our emcees will be the 2008 Miss West Virginia Kayla Lynam! We encourage other visiting royalty and hope that you will enjoy this one of a kind festival! Shay and I are extremely overjoyed at the remarkable group of contestants that we have for the 2009 Balloon Festival pageants. We thank each and every competitor and parent that put their trust in us by placing their child or themselves in our pageant. Who would have dared dream that the last Fairs and Festival pageant of the season would draw this many delegates? Not us! I sit here at 5:30 am working on the staging line-up and was scared to death by a THUMP at my front door. It was merely my daily newspaper being tossed by our carrier. Rushing to the door in my leopard print flannel PJs, I tore the paper open to see if my girls photos were in there (they were not yesterday!) and there they were!! Page 1-D! Now I believe whole heartedly each of them is front page material, however I do not run the Dominion Post. So I will take the space they give and run with it! Here is how it works: Division fees for ALL six pageants are FREE if you are registered by October 14th. There is a registration fee of $100.00 and if you choose to do more than 1 pageant you only need to pay it once. Your registration fee covers your door badges, participation awards, sag bag, Halloween party, etc All optionals are $20.00 a piece except talent which is $30.00. You will need to enter at least 3 optionals to compete for Mini Supreme Or 6 to compete for Grand Supreme. If you choose to do more your lowest score(s) will be dropped. There are over 23 optionals to choose from! The best part is you only pay for them and perform them once and they count for both sides! So basically you can enter 2 pageants for the price of 1! Registration is $100.00 Total to compete for Americas Beautiful Star, Miss All American Achievement or both divisions: $0.00 Total to compete for Star, Achievement or both Division & Mini Supreme $160.00 Total to compete for Star, Achievement or both Grand, Mini & division $220.00 Talk about an unbeatable deal!
