Please correct me if this list is inaccurate or incomplete. September 12th : Chapmanville Apple Butter Festival Volcano Days Salem Apple Butter Festival September 19th : Florence Merow Mason~Dixon Festival WV Roadkill Cook Off September 26th : Ravenswood Octoberfest Sutton Fall Festival September 27th : Point Pleasant Battle Days October 3rd : Shanghai Parade Festival October 10th : Mountaineer Balloon Festival _____________________________________________________________________________________ May I suggest that each director put their personal & pageant information as a “click in” to make it easier for the young ladies (or parents) to find the information for each individual pageant. Good luck to each young lady as they vie for the remaining titles. I would also like to wish my fellow directors good fortune as they prepare for their pageants. (And Betty, I loved the idea of posting the pageant date by upcoming pageants, so I "borrowed" it! LOL) If you get a chance, please look over the list and let me know if you spot any mistakes such as wrong names or spelling errors. For instance, I've seen two different spellings for Caitie/Kaitie Adkins, so if anyone knows for sure how to spell her name please let me know. You'll also see some pageants that have question marks beside them. If you know anything about these pageants, whether they're not being held this year, what the pageant date is, or who the winner is, just post it on here and I'll make the correction. And of course if I've missed any pageants, be sure to let me know that too! I'll get the alphabetical contestant list started soon, but I just wanted to get the main list posted since everyone was wanting it. Hi, My name is Kristi Parks-Davis, and I am with Maplewood Senior Living Community in Bridgeport, WV. National Assisted Living week is Sept. 17th-19th. We host a variety of activities this week for our residents to celebrate Life in Assisted Living Communities. On September the 17th at 4:00, we are hosting a day of activities that will revolve around Fairs and Festivals. After speaking with the residents, they said that they would love to meet any of the Princesses and Queens from local fairs and festival. They would love to see her tiara and a pretty girl with a sash. I know it sounds silly, but to them it would mean a lot, they are at an age where they can no longer physically be able to attend the fairs like they once did. Getting to spend some time with the princess or Queen would brighten their day. If you could help me accomplish this endeavor I would certainly appreciate it. My contact information is below.
