CALLING ALL VISITING ROYALTY AND PAGEANT FANS!
This Sunday at the Beckley-Raleigh Convention Center (200 Armory Drive, Beckley) will be the first ever Rocket Boys Festival Pageant.

Door admission is $5 per person with Visiting Royalty (crown/sash) admitted free.
Pageant will begin at 3pm with our Jr Royalty (ages 4-12 yrs) and then move up to our Teen, Miss and Mrs around 3:50pm.

We had posted a prior list but, with postal service issues and some of our prior candidates winning other titles and taking replacements, we are re-posting this official list.

After the parade there will be a memorial service to honor those who have made the "Ultimate Sacrifice." Pageant will start at 12:30 we will start with the Baby division and so on we will crown after each division. The Art center has dressing rooms available. Anyone 12 and younger please arrive ready.
This Pageant will be open to everyone regardless of where you live.
Entry fee $40 if turned in before Aug 31st After the 31st it will be $45

We will Crown a Queen and a Princess in each division. And a King and a Prince in each division (if we have at least 5 in that division.) We will also have 1st-3rd and Optionals!

You are invited to the Ghoulish Glam Pageant which is a Halloween pageant that will be held Sunday October, 28 2012 at the Ramada Inn, in Morgantown WV. All entries are $100 and Registration will begin at 3pm and pageant will start promptly 4pm. There will be a $100.00 prize given to the Ultimate Grand Supreme, flowers, and a free entry in our next upcoming pageant. 2013 Miss Frontier Days Queen Pageant will be held on Sunday, September 16th, 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln High School, Shinnston, WV. Ages 16-21 and must be a resident of West Virginia.

We are so excited to announce the 2012 Princeton Autumnfest Pageant and invite contestants in 4 different divisions to come and join us. This pageant is open statewide in all divisions.

Location is the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton, WV which is one of the premier arts centers in the state.

Pageant date is September 8, 2012. Pageant time is 6:00 PM. Arrival times will be staggered based on division and a schedule will be mailed after your application has been received. ENTRY POSTMARK DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 1, 2012.

All applications must include a 5x7 photo for Photogenic judging. All photos will be returned at check-in.

MISS DIVISION - ages 16-21 must be 16 to enter and cannot turn 22 before January 13, 2013.

We will also have a Beauty Category so remember to bring a Beauty Dress: it can be Sunday's Best or Glitz, your choice! Fit and color choice on contestant is what matters!

Hope you all can make it to a Fantastic way to bring back and celebrate the 60's and 70's! I have Awesome Awards planned for this event so get ready and get those creative minds working! Props are allowed but not a must, just make sure to bring personality, personality personality!!!

Date: Sunday, September 30th

Place: Bridgeport, WV (Venue to be announced) Just 30 minutes South of Morgantown, 2 hours North of Charleston.

Time: Registration 12-12:45pm, Pageant 1pm

Attire: Beauty Dress (Sunday's Best or Glitz) and

60's or 70's Wear

You may pay a 40.00 Deposit or all 75.00 by this date.

Side awards are free in each age division and consist of: Sweetest Face, Disco Wear, Personality, Best Dress and Print Model(any full body shot)

High Points, Grand Supremes, Mini Supremes, Novice Supremes, and Division Supremes will be awarded as well as Kings and Queens.

We will be awarding 2 Queens and Kings in each age division! Disco Queen/King and Sweetest Face Queen/King. Lots of Titles to be awarded along with Gorgeous Crowns, Custom Sashes and Groovy Awards! This is one Pageant you don't want to miss! All Contestants will be awarded a Crown, Sash and trophy!

We are offering a way to enter the Pageant for free by getting sponsors, a dollar a signature. If you collect 100 Signatures you can win an extra crown along with the title of Dream Doll, if you collect 175 or more signatures you will win the title of Dream Doll Supreme, 3 foot trophy, Crown and Custom Sash. The contestant who collectss the most signatures will win an awesome award. All money from the signatures must be turned in by the Deadline of September 13th.

Overalls will be awarded, they are optional. Overall Sweetest Face, Overall Disco Wear, Overall Model and Overall Personality. All 4 for 20.00. If we have over 25 contestants I will have two sets of Overalls: 0-3 and 4 &up.

We will be awarding Buddy Supreme, 5.00 a contestant. Pick a partner(must be a contestant) the two highest combined scores will be our Buddy Supreme winners.

Be sure to contact your Buddy in advance if possible, it makes it alot easier to plan.


Boys Age Divisions: 0-2, 3-5, and 6-up.

Girls Age Divisions: 0-11mo, 12-23mo, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15 and 16-up.

Hello everyone! I was wanting to pop by and see how everyones year is going and I can't wait to see everyone! I'm sorry if I missed your pageant and/or festival for I am a busy girl! Between working at the hospital, working on my masters degree and also being a graduate assistant, I am very happy for what I have gotten to do. I wanted to remind girls that there are still opportunities for WVAFF such as: Princeton Autumnfest, Salem Applebutter, and Sutton Fall Festival. 2012 WV Pumpkin Festival Queen & Teen's Pageant will be held on Sunday, August 26th, 2:00 p.m. at the WV Pumpkin Park, Milton, WV, in the Air Conditioned Entertainment Building. Queen contestants, ages 16-21, and Teen contestants, ages 13-15, must be a resident of West Virginia.
The 2012 WV Pumpkin Festival Queen will not only reign over the WV Pumpkin Festival but will also receive $500 Cash Scholarship, $500 Clothing Allowance, Crown, Trophy, Banner and represent the WV Pumpkin Festival at the 2013 WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant.

This is another fundraiser pageant for St. Jude's. This will be an All Natural Pageant with Sunday's Best dress. This event will take place on September 29th at the Elk River Community Center in Elkview, WV. The address is 902 Main Street, Elkview, WV 25071. (The Senior Citizens Community Center). Registration will begin from 11-11:45 a.m. and the pageant will begin at Noon.

Entry Fee is $50.00-we will be doing beauty only. Deadline for entry is September 5th. I cannot accept any late entries.

We will have NO PRINCESSES at this pageant. We will only have Queens, with a Supreme Queen in each age division. We will award 1 High Point Elite, 1 Grand Supreme and 1 Mini Supreme. Each Queen is guaranteed a 2 foot trophy and sash. Each Supreme Queen is guaranteed a 3 foot trophy and custom sash. Please don't forget that we love awarding Kings. They too will receive a 3 foot trophy and custom sash. We will award divsional awards but will not be awarding overall awards. Please remember that we are trying to raise as much money as possible for St. Jude's.

Clendenin Fall Festival Pageant is brand new to the WV Association of Fairs and Festivals this year and are ready to do big things. We will be having our Teen, Miss,Ms., and Mrs. pageants on Aug. 25th and the childrens pageants on Aug. 26. The prize packages will be amazing also!

The 2012 Miss Mothman Festival Pageants are happy to announce our dates for this year's pageant.

Remember our pageant is open to anyone, from anywhere! You don't have to be from Point Pleasant, Mason County, or even West Virginia to compete! We welcome contestants from all over, because we understand the fascination with the Mothman exceeds our state line, and we also know everyone wants to reign over the WORLD'S ONLY MOTHMAN FESTIVAL!!


The Tiny/Little/Young/Junior Miss competition will be held Thursday, September 13 at the Trinity United Methodist Church Auditorium on Main Street in Point Pleasant beginning at 6 p.m.

On Friday, September 14th, contestants in the Teen/Miss/Ms./Mrs. divisions will take the stage at the beautiful Point Pleasant Riverfront Park outdoor stage. This pageant will start at 6 p.m.

The above divisions will compete in Casual Wear (Little, Young & Miss also will have an On-Stage Interview)

These divisions will compete in Moth Wear, Evening Wear, and On-Stage Interview.

An Anti-Bullying Rally will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 on the Jackson County Courthouse Lawn in Ripley from 1:30 PM til 9:00 PM.

We are seaching for singers to compete in our Idol competion. There is 3 age divisions: 8 - 12 years; 13 - 19 years and 20 and up. The cost is $25. This is NOT a Karaoke competition. You must provide your own back up music on a CD. Winner of each division will receive $100 CASH and a Plaque and will open for the band at 7:30 PM. First Runner-Up will receive a Plaque. If you would like to enter call Karen at 304-532-1698. Competition will begin at 5;00 PM. You MUST Pre-Register.

Many free games and activities are planned for the day and it is ALL FREE. This event is for all ages. Concessions will be available.

We are going to accept entries for the Oak Leaf Festival / Bridge Day Pageant in the Miss, Mrs, Ms, Teen, and Preteen division until Noon on Monday since that is when my mail runs. Entries can be emailed to me at katha17@aol.com or hand delivered. They must be in my hands by noon on Monday. This will be the final extension. Remember, both titles are statewide. No where else do the queens get to ride the highline on the New River Gorge Bridge at Bridge Day or go under the bridge on Bridge Day!

The children's pageant will accept entries until Tuesday, August 22.

2012 WV Pumpkin Festival Queen & Teen's Pageant will be held on Sunday, August 26th, 2:00 p.m. at the WV Pumpkin Park, Milton, WV, in the Air Conditioned Entertainment Building. Queen contestants, ages 16-21, and Teen contestants, ages 13-15, must be a resident of West Virginia.
The 2012 WV Pumpkin Festival Queen will not only reign over the WV Pumpkin Festival but will also receive $500 Cash Scholarship, $500 Clothing Allowance, Crown, Trophy, Banner, Blenko Glass, gifts from local businesses and represent the WV Pumpkin Festival at the 2013 WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant.
