Age Divisions: 4-6 Little Miss 7-9 Junior Miss 10-12 Pre-Teen 13-15 Teen 16-21 Queen The Queen and Teen pageant will be held at 7pm on Saturday, October 3rd. The Pre-Teen, Young Miss, and Little Miss will be held at 3pm on Sunday, October 4th. Both pageants will be held at Lewisburg Elementary School in Lewisburg, WV. Queen and Teen contestants are to arrive at the school by 12pm Saturday. Pre-Teen, Young Miss, and Little Miss contestants need to arrive at the school by 12:30pm Sunday. Doors will open to the public one hour before the pageants begin. Awards: Queen will receive a tiara, Jessie Marsh sash, flowers, crown pin, scholarship, trophy, expense paid trip to the WV Assoc. of Fairs and Festivals Queen’s Pageant, and gift bag. The Queen will reign over the 2010 Shanghai Parade along with other events throughout the year. Teen will receive a tiara, sash, flowers, crown pin, trophy, and gift bag. We will have over 70 contestants in our combined pageants this year. My reason for posting this information now is that I have received numerous calls and emails asking if we are still accepting entrants. No, our deadline was September 26th. I would like to wish big CONGRATULATIONS to the newest wearers of the Fairs and Festivals crowns. Way to go Stacey Gleason and Nicole Greene! I am sure you will make your new directors very proud. My guess is they are resting up at this moment from the frenzy of pageant day!! My question is does anyone know anything about the Frontier Days pageant or Festival held in Shinnston? It was my understanding that they were once a member of F&F and they were bringing it back. I think its awesome that so many Fairs & Festivals in our state are being revived. Can you imagine the number of girls we may have in Charleston this year? WOW! I look forward to seeing so many friends there again and hopefully meeting a few new ones. I was contacted by the original poster and asked to remove the negative posts. I contacted that person(s) and said I would not remove the posts by our readers without removing the original post. I have yet to receive a reply. That was over 12 hours ago. Pageantry is supposed to be a positive experience and we can not allow this board to be overtaken by negativity. In the future, I ask that everyone abide by the rules posted above. Please use a name and a valid email address when posting. It adds legitimacy and authenticity to what you are saying. Especially if you are a business or pageant director. This board can be a wonderful place to share information, sell unwanted items, applaud friends and loved ones as well as pass on information at the stroke of a few keys.
