Awarding in every Age Division:
Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile, Most Beautiful, Most Photogenic, Appalachian Festival Queen/King and Appalachian Festival Princess/Prince.

All Contestants will receive a crown and trophy just for participating!
4 Grand Supremes will be awarded with a large crown, beautiful trophy, custom festival title sash and gift. Little Mr. Appalachian (all boys) , Baby Miss Appalachian (0-2 yrs) , Little Miss Appalachian (3-7 yrs) , Jr. Miss Appalachian (8-13 yrs)

Pageant Details:
** Boy contestants will appear on stage in their choice of a suit/dressy outfit/tux. Each girl contestant will appear on stage in a DRESS of their choice. It can be a Party dress, flower girl or beginner/low glitz pageant dress. Please no hats, gloves, purses or props.
**Judging is based on natural facial beauty, personality and overall neatness of appearance.
**Each contestant should bring an 8x10 picture (prefer headshots) to Registration on the day of the pageant; can be color or black & white. No frames or retouched photos please.
**Winners will be asked to return to the UC/MSU at 7pm on pageant day for the Teen/Miss/Ms/Mrs. Appalachian pageant. Also to represent the Appalachian Festival at their events from August 23-25th, 2013 AND appear in the Beckley Kids Classic Grand Parade on September 7, 2013.**

Door Admission: $5 per person (contestant free) - The 2 contestants bringing the most spectators will receive an official festival crown and custom title sash of APPALACHIAN FESTIVAL AMBASSADOR.

I am excited to announce the 2013 Appalachian Festival Pageant to be held June 15, 2013 in Beckley, WV!

Our divisions are OPEN STATE WIDE and include Teen, Miss, Ms and Mrs. as well as a Children's Royalty Pageant.

Age and Other Requirements:
*Teen - 13-15 yrs

The official date has been set for the 18th annual West Virgina Law Enforcement Pageant. The pageant is scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Lewis County Senior Citizen's Center in Weston. The pageant is open statewide. With the following divisions: Queen, Teen, Ms. and Mrs.
The queen will represent WV Law Enforcement at the 2014 WV Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant in Charleston and our Mrs. winner will represent WV Law Enforcement at the Mrs. West Virginia America Pageant. The Queen and Teen winner will receive a $4,000.00 scholarship to Glenville State College (additional prizes will be listed as received). For more information contact Vicki at wvlawpageants@aol.com. TNT Pageant is Saturday! Still seeking contestants for all age divisions. Registration is from noon to 1 p.m. at the WV State Farm Museum. Come dressed and ready in 'TNT Wear' (see website for more details) - missandmistertnt.webs.com - Pageant begins at 2 p.m. We ask everyone who attends to bring a canned food item for the pantry at Crosslight of Hope - there will be no admission, but please help support this ministry! There also is a contest between contestants on whomever brings the most canned food/donations - that contestant will win a trophy! Also, don't forget, we will be crowing a King & Queen in each division, as well as a Miss Dynamite - Crowd Favorite Award Come out, register, and support your contestants and community at the 2013 Miss & Mister Point Pleasant TNT Pageant.

Entry Fee: $25 until TOMORROW (May 11th) - After that, it is $35 and we do take sign ups at the door!

Contestants will model their outfit of choice on stage and then contestants 6 and up will answer questions coming from their bio.

This pageant is fundraiser for the Mothman Festival Pageants.

We will not charge admission, but will be giving a Community Service Award to the contestant who brings the most canned food for a local food pantry.

We also will be crowning a Miss Dynamite - Contestant who is the Crowd Favorite winner - based on monetary votes!

Rock N Paws Pageant will be held On June 22, 2013 and a portion of the proceeds will be given to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.
Registration is from 10:00- 10:30 A.M., pageant starts at 11:00 A.M..
We will begin with beauty wear and then Rock N Roll wear to follow.
We will have a dressing room for the females to change in and restroom for boys.


Age groups are as follows:

Beauty wear Ages 9 and up is Formal Wear
Rock N Roll wear is unlimited
Ages 4 and up will have on stage question.
Cost is $60 with a $10 sibling/Mommy discount that will be taken off after the first child.

Photogenic is day of pageant and is $3 for 1 photo and $5 for 2 photos.

Peoples Choice will be day of pageant.

First 10 to turn in application and payment will be put into drawing to win a crown.

Mommy & Me contest. Combine Mommy & childs score for an overall total to compete against other Mommy & Me. In the case of more then one child, the highest score will be added to Mommys. The winners will receive trophies.

Ripley - The 2013 Jackson County Junior Fair pageants will be held on Saturday, July 13th, at Ripley High School.
Applications are currently being accepted from individuals ranging in ages from 13 – 21 who are residents of Jackson County or is a member of a Jackson County 4-H or FFA club. To be eligible for the Queen’s division, you must be 16 years of age by January 1, 2014 and cannot have reached your 22nd birthday before January 1, 2014. To be eligible for the Teen division, you must be between the ages of 13 – 15 on the day of the pageant. The Pre-Teen division is ages 10 – 12 on the day of the pageant. Applications are available on the Jackson County Junior Fair website at www.jcjf.net, at The Jewelers Touch and Head to Toe Beauty Salon in Ripley and the Jackson County Extension Office in Cottageville. 2012 Reigning Queen Miss Lexi Farmer will be giving up her crown to the 2013 Miss Wood Festival. Pageant for ages 5-18 and the Miss Wood Festival Pageant will be held June 4th at 7:00 pm at the Calhoun Middle High School auditorium Age Divisions will be from 5 yrs to 18 yrs competing in personal style and evening wear. The Miss Wood Festival competition includes "Personal Interview, Personal Style and Evening gown".

Our 2013 Miss Parkersburg Homecoming Festival Teen & Queen Pageant will be held on July 27th at 6:00 p.m. at WVU Parkersburg. Our awards will include a queen and 4 runners up and a photogenic and congeniality winner in each division. We are adding to the queens’ packages daily but it will include $1,200 to our new queen and $250 to our teen. Essay: Please submit a 250 to 500 word typed essay on the topic “What Is A Watershed?” It should include why your watershed is important and what can be done to conserve, preserve and restore your watershed. It should inspire its readers to action. It will be judged on content, inspiration, spelling and grammar.
Personal Introduction: On stage
Personal Interview: 5 questions taken directly from the information included on your application.

Save the date Sunday,June 23, 2013 for the first annual Miss Independence USA Pageant. The pageant is open nationwide and is being sponsored by the Lewis County Citizen's Against Drugs Organization.
Age divisions will be as follows:

Hello pageant ladies of West Virginia!

Once again it is time for the 9th annual Miss Ability Pageant to be held in Morgantown on May 11th at South Middle School. The Miss Ability Pageant is unique in the fact that that it recognizes young ladies from across our state for their skills and aptitude not their limitations. Our delegates range in age from 5 years of age and UP!

Our theme this year is GIRL POWER!!

As in years past, I am in need of many volunteers to help with the pageant. To work with these wonderful ladies and basically do everything that needs to be accomplished during a day of pageantry.

Also as in the past, we ask that titleholders please not wear sashes or crowns to the Miss Ability pageant. We understand and RESPECT that you are proud of your various fairs, festivals and events that you represent. However, on this one day, we wish for all of the attention to be on these outstanding ladies.

On that day there will be titles awarded, however each contestant receives a crown, trophy and gift bag and title. Our older contestants will be interviewed by our panel of judges in personal interview, have an opportunity to perform a talent, and all will appear on stage in the elegance of formal wear.

I guarantee that this is pageantry in its truest form!!
If you can spare a few hours or the entire day I would love to hear from you. Please contact me so I can compile a list of friendly helpers!

The Nicholas County Summerfest will be held May 11, 2013 . With so many pageants being held April we decided to move ours to May with the festival to follow the first weekend in June !!! Where: East Fairmont High School
When: Saturday, May 18, 2013
Time: Registration ¡V 12:00 The pageant begins promptly at 1:00 P.M.
Entry Fee: $65 Checks payable to D. Hudson
Attire: Summer attire of your choice (have FUN and be CREATIVE)
(no pageant dresses, please)
All contestants will receive at least a sash, trophy, and a tiara. Upbeat music will be provided.

AGAIN THIS YEAR~ Special MOTHER/DAUGHTER division! Entry fee $50. If your daughter is entered in the pageant, the entry fee is only $35.
Moms and daughters will model on stage together. Age divisions will be determined based on the number of entries received. Age divisions based on the age of the daughter. ƒº Come on MOMS! Let¡¦s have some fun!

NEW THIS YEAR~ Special GRANDMOTHER/GRANDDAUGHTER division! Same as mother/daughter guidelines. $35/pair or $25/pair if entered in mother/daughter as well.

NEW pageant system naming contest~ Submit an entry to name my pageant system at the registration table. The winning entry will receive a FREE entry to my next pageant!!! Let those CREATIVE juices FLOW! (You may submit up to FIVE entries)

Age divisions: 18 months and under baby miss, 19 months-2 wee miss, 3-4 tiny miss,
5-6-7 mini miss, 8-9-10 little miss, 11-12-13 junior miss, 14 and up miss. BOYS 0-8
We reserve the right to split or combine age groups. Highpoint and supreme titles as well!!

We will be awarding prettiest smile, personality, model, and best attire in each division. All side awards are FREE to enter.

**A special award will go to the girl who gets the most pageant friends to enter.**

**Grab a buddy and enter the ¡§Summer Stylin¡¦ Sisters¡¨ contest! $5 per contestant (scores added together for an additional title!!!)**

Overall categories are best fashion, summer spirit (judge¡¦s choice), model, and personality. Entry fee for overalls is $20 for all four.

An ¡§Elite Summer Supreme¡¨ title will be awarded to each contestant who collects at least $150 in signatures or donations. Money for this is due the day of the pageant, but you must call, email, or text me that you are entering this category by May 3rd. (Large crown, custom sash, and large trophy)

The official date for the 16th annual WV LAW ENFORCEMENT CHILDREN'S PAGEANT will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Lewis County Citizen's Against Drugs Organization. The pageant is open statewide. Age divisions for both girls and boys....are as follows:

The 2013 Riverfest pageant is going to be the best yet! On April 27, 2013
we will be Crowning our newest Miss Riverfest, Teen Riverfest, Pre-Teen and Mrs. Riverfest.


As part of our prize package we will be sponsoring Miss Riverfest and Teen Riverfest
to The USA pageant in Flatwoods WV and the Miss Riverfest will have all expenses paid to Fairs and Festivals pageant in Charleston 2013. Our Mrs. Riverfest winner will have her entry fees paid to the Mrs. West Virginia Pageant. If our Miss Queen is not age eligible we send the 1st runner up to represent us in Charleston.

This will be the 4th annual Mid-Ohio Valley Paws "Festival of Dogs." However, we are adding a children's pageant to reign over the festival! This will be in conjunction with the Grand Opening of the new Jackson Dog Park that was done with efforts from MOV Paws and the city of Vienna, WV. The pageant will be held on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00!

Date: Sunday, May 5th, 2013

Time: Registration 1pm, Pageant at 1:30

Place: The pageant will be in the Vienna Community Building within the park. The festival will continue throughout the park and the king and queens will reign over the event! Directions will be on the application :)

Cost: $30. This fee will cover a t-shirt and the rest will go towards the fundraising of the new dog park.

Divisions: Ages: Girls: 3-5 Tiny Miss MOV Paws, 6-9 Little Miss MOV Paws, and 10-13 Junior Miss MOV Paws. Boys 3-7 Little Mister MOV Paws. Awards will be given to 1st and 2nd runners up in each division.

Pageant: No glitz, all natural. Glitter is permitted. Children may wear anything they wish, besides pageant gowns. They may dress like their favorite animal or wear their Sunday best. They are not judged on what they wear, but how they wear it. Beauty will not be judged, as God creates everyone differently and all children are beautiful. The judging will weigh heavily on interview.

Interview Question: Tell us what you like about pets/animals/etc.

Please bring: a picture of your pet to use during the interview/or a stuffed animal/or something to represent pets.

Must be citizens of the U.S. and legal residents of WV.
Cannot be current title holder of Miss LWF River Fest.

On Saturday, April 27th, a pageant will be held at the Ravenswood High School Auditorium to Crown the Queen of the program.

Pageant categories include: Mrs. (25+), Ms. (20-24) Miss (17-19), Teen (13-16), Pre-Teen (10-12), and Little Miss (5-9). The cost of the pageant will only be $50 per contestant. Our prizes include, not only a Crown and Sash, but a professional photo shoot, a professional facial, gown gift certificate, pageant jewelry, and massage!

If you are interested in competing in this pageant, please send an email to tammicollins@casinternet.net and an application will be emailed to you, along with pertinent information that you will need to know prior to the event. The deadline for payment and entries is Saturday April 20th.

The contestants crowned in this pageant will participate in several activities throughout their reign, such as parades, fundraising events, and other local events and in the surrounding areas!

Beauties & Beaus Pageantry wants to award the Angelic Faces of 2013! This pageant will be held on April 27, 2013 at the Elk River Community Center. Upon entering, each contestant is guaranteed at least a 2 foot trophy, beautiful crown and a custom sash. I do not tolerate any bashing of any kind. I ask that all parents and contestants have the upmost respect for everyone attending and participating.
**This pageant will be an all-natural pageant!**
Registration will be from 10:00-10:45. Pageant will begin at 11:00. Registration deadline is_April 12, 2013.

We will have no Princess-we will award Queens and one Supreme Queen in each age division. Each Queen will receive a beautiful crown, sash and a 2 foot trophy. Each Supreme Queen will receive a custom sash, 3 foot trophy and a 3” crown.

We will award 4 Mini Supremes, 4 Grand Supremes and 4 High Point Elites. The divisional breakdown will be 0-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years and 10 years & Up. Each Mini Supreme will receive a custom sash, 4 foot trophy and a 4” crown. Each Grand Supreme will receive a custom sash, 5 foot trophy and a 5” crown. Each High Point Elite will receive a custom sash, 6 foot trophy and a 10” crown. OOC is optional; however, we will award 1 OOC Mini Supreme (Custom Sash & 4 foot trophy), 1 OOC Grand Supreme (Custom Sash & 5 foot trophy) and 1 OOC Ultimate Grand Supreme (Custom Sash & 6 foot trophy). All others who enter the OOC and do not pull for these higher titles will receive a 1 foot trophy. OOC is anything goes, make sure to wow the Judges!

***If we have at least 50 contestants, we will award each Mini Supreme $50.00, each Grand Supreme $100.00 and each High Point Elite $150.00 on stage.***

Entry Fee: $50.00 – Required and does include divisional side awards!
Overalls: $25.00 – Optional & does not need to be done to win a higher title!
OOC: $25.00 – Optional & does not need to be done to win a higher title!

There is also another way that sponsors can help your child win even more. If a contestant sells 125 Good Luck Wishes, they will not only receive their entry fee and overalls paid, they will also receive a 4 Foot Trophy and will be recognized on stage as a Beauties and Beaus Superstar. If a contestant sells 175 Good Luck Wishes, their entry fee and overalls will be paid, they will receive a 6 foot trophy and be recognized on stage as a Beauties and Beaus Superstar. Good Luck Wishes are basically $1.00 per wish. The Good Luck Wishes money will be due on or before the deadline for entry. The person(s) who sponsors your child will have a chance at winning $50.00 in a drawing to be held the same day of the pageant. The sponsor(s) do not need to be present to win - I will simply give the $50.00 to the parent of the contestant. Each Good Luck Wish will need to be filled out, cut out and given to me personally on the day of the pageant. A sample of the Good Luck Wish is below. I will need one each per Good Luck Wish.

Deadline to enter the WV International Pageant has been extended to April 6, 2013. All of the info and entry forms are on the website www.wvintlpageants.com Make sure to look at the tab for your division and the contestant info tab for entry applications, instructions, and competition info. Also, if you have a fair or festival title, you may be eligible for a discount, just ask us about it! Teen division has no contestants yet and Jr Teen, Ms, Miss, and Mrs have very low contestant numbers. This is a great opportunity for a state level title!

just a reminder that the breast cancer awareness pageant will be at ramada inn next saturday...entries are closed with 78 contestants...but we are raffling some amazing items off and have about 12-15 vendors...including KLASSY KIDS KOLLECTION...so it might be worth stopping by to check it out and support breast cancer awareness
last year we raised over $11,ooo!

On March 14, 2013 one of my dear pageant "sisters", Miranda, lost her home in a house fire. She, her eight year old son, and mother were forced to jump from the second story of their home. Unfortunately, Miranda's mother is suffering from a severe back injury as a result of jumping from the window. She was life flighted to the Pittsburgh Burn and Trauma Center. As of Friday, she is awake and happy to be alive. However, she will probably never be able to work again and, as for walking, it will be a long healing process. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am collecting items to take to the family. If anyone is interested in making a donation, please contact me via this forum or by email: wilsonk.abc@gmail.com. Their sizes are as follows:
