So sorry I made you cry. The cruelty of my ex started in the last few years of our marriage and I made rationalizations about the stresses we were going through at the time. She was drinking a lot and hanging out at her girlfriend's house, so I always thought, "well okay as long as she isn't cheating on me". Whoops!!!
If your ex is being kind now, I think there is a good chance that behavior will continue. I very much hope so for you.
As for your benefit of the doubt in my situation. I really do want to think it is an oversight. I do. The problem kind of stuff happens repeatedly and without any apology or remorse. A normal interaction would be to say, "Oh I am so sorry I forgot to call you", from the start. Not blame everyone else and appear to be blind to any hurt she has caused. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me a hundred times, you suck as a person. :)
