OOC: Ravyn, I posted on the OOC board that I couldn't come to the Shadowed Forest, but I guess my computer was willing today.
IC: A cloaked figure rode up on a shimmering stallion of silver light. The figure dismounted, drawing back the hood of her forest green cloak, golden hair rippled down like a waterfall. Grey eyes shone from a flawless face as she looked around at the others there. Noticing the sitting man with the black hair, she considered that he must be Ravyn. Approaching him silently, the Elf spoke in a musical voice, "I saw the poster." That was all she said for a moment, her grey eyes searching his own eyes, judging him, sizing him up. Finally, with a satisified smile, the elven woman spoke again, "I feel that I can aid you, I am trained with a long bow and long knife, and I have a few magical powers." Not noticing the others, Adraine held out her palm, face up. A small blue light grew in it, growing into a small ball, then it turned red, the tree that stood near by shuddered. "That is not one of my favorites, it is an old gift, but fire can come in handy sometimes." Adraine stared at the man again, watching him, studying his reactions. She really didn't think that he would think her next powers special, for they were common among Elves. Holding her palm face down, the red light faded and a forestgreen light formed. It was the color of the clothes she was clad in, pulsing slightly, the Elf kept the ball small. At her feet, the green light touched and a small flower sprouted. "I have done much worse," she said, closing her palm, now, turning her attention to the tree that had shuddered. She closed her eyes, concentrating. The tree started to bend and sway, a rustling sound coming from it's branches even though there was no wind. "Odd," the Elf whispered as she listened to the whispering the tree was making, "Quite odd." And for a moment, she forgot all about the man sitting in front of her, or of the people around her.
