The last bell rang and Druex walked out his History class. After he got his stuff from his locker, he walked out the school just to come face to face with Darnell and 'em.

"So where ya headed?" 'Velle asked.

"I'm takin' Natalia home."

Druex started to walk off and Darnell followed him while 'Velle and Porky hung back. "So ya think she gon give it up in just one day?"

"Naw nigga I don't think that. I mean she does have a brain unlike them chickenheads yo ass be messin' with."

"Just because Shanice picked me over you don't mean you have ta call her chickenhead."

Druex stopped walking and looked at Darnell with menacing eyes. "Look you can have Shanice. I'm onto bigger and better things now. She ain't nothin' but a little girl playing kiddie games and shit, "Druex said before walking off. But Druex wasn't no fool. He knew that Darnell would try to fuck this up for him because he was jealous. Druex just had to be one step ahead of him.

Kamesha opened her door and nodded before Pamala and Rita walked in. After Omari broke up with Pamala, she ran to the bathroom where she found Rita and Kamesha. After she told them everything from when her and Omari first hooked up at a party at Jarell's to when Omari ended things between them. Being the violent and loyal person she was, Kamesha wanted to take a brick to his car and steal his rims but Pamala stopped her saying that it wouldn't solve anything. That's when Rita and Kamesha figured it out.

"I still don't see how you still love that boy Pamala," Kamesha told her friend as she took off her Nikes.

"Me either. But something keep pullin me back to him. I don't know what it is but it's something."

"You need to find somebody else," Rita said, "and I got the perfect person."

"Who?" Kamesha and Pamala asked at the same time.

"Druex's cousin Jerome a.k.a Romeo. That nigga is so fine he'll make you forget about that triflin' nigga Omari like that." Rita snapped her fingers.

"I don't know," Pamala muttered.

"Come on girl! Be brave for a change and call him. You don't want Omari to win thinkin that you pinin after him do you?" Pamala shook her head. "So what it's gon be?"

Pamala thought about it. She ain't want to move on so fast but she ain't want Omari to start actin all cocky. She smiled at her best friends before saying, "Ok. Let's do it."

"So you broke up with Pamala?"

Omari, Mario, and Jarell were sittin on Omari's stoop and Omari just told them what happened between him and Pamala.

"Yeah. She was gettin to emotionally involved so I had to quit her."

"You are a dumbass nigga!" Jarell exclaimed to him. "Pamala was the best thing that happened to you and you dropped her because you thought she was gon turn out like Ashley."

"Hey I can get many more dimes."

"That might be true but not only was Pamala fine, she was intelligent, sweet, independent, and was in love with yo ass. You better get her back before somebody snatches her up."

Omari shook his head. "Why?"

"Because you love her just like she loves you. I can see it in your eyes whenever you talk about her. You're just scared of being hurt again so you won't admit it."

"So in other words, call us when you get some sense back," Jarell said before he and Mario walked off.

Omari shook his head, mumbled a few courses, and walked into his apartment. As he dropped on his bed he looked over to his dresser to see a picture of Pamala. Looking so beautiful and innocent. Whenever he was with her he felt so happy and when Pamala had stormed out his apartment the day they had the argument he felt his heart break. Jarell and Mario were right.

He did love Pamala.

Now he could only do one thing. He had to make things right.

Druex looked over at Natalia sitting in the passenger seat of his '98 Grand Prix. That was when he realized how beautiful she really was. Her black hair wasn't too shiny but wasn't to dry looking either. Her eyes were a beautiful light brown. But the real story was her lips. They were so full and gloss was applied perfectly on it. Natalia turned around to see Druex's eyes on her and she grinned. "Whatcha thinkin'?" she asked.

"Just how beautiful you are."

Natalia started to blush. "Sorry I ain't mean to embarass you."

Natalia held up her hand as if to say that's cool. "Nobody has complimented me like that. I was kinda a skinny nerd back in Iowa. But then over the summer I kinda filled out," Natalia said with a laugh.

Druex pulled up to her apartment building and shut off the car before turning to face her. "You heard about that movie All About The Benjamins?"

Natalia nodded. "Yeah. Shante said it was decent. Why you askin'?"

"I was wondering whether you would like to go see it on Friday."

Natalia couldn't believe her ears. "With you? On a date?"

Druex laaughed and nodded. "Yeah."

Natalia smiled. "Ok. I'll go with you."

Druex kept a calm on the outside but his ass was actin' like a fuckin' teenybopper on the inside. He was one more step closer to his goal of cuttin' Natalia. "Aiight. Well I'll see you tomorrow in school."

"Okay." Natalia stepped out the car and walked into the apartment building. When she was safely in her room, she started beaming like a jackass. Now she had to go shopping for something to wear. Wait until word spreaded 'round school. Girls was gon be jealous of her. But Natalia ain't care. None of them bitches could pull her down.

Not when she had a date with Druex 'Lil Fizz' Fredericks.
