You know, I get blasted by people all the time because I advocate things that the church doesn't appear to be taking a position on . . . simple things like expecting our leaders to obey the Constitution that they take an oath to uphold.

Perhaps you heard recently about a minister (I can't remember what church) spoke publicly to his flock about his opposition to the war in Iraq. As a result, their tax exempt status was revoked for his violation of the separation of church and state and for pushing his political agenda among his congregation. Sad . . .

The days are gone when we will hear the brethren speak about studying and defending the Constitution from the pulpit, because to do so would threaten our tax-exempt status. Religion and politics don't mix. It's just not going to happen, anymore. So all those who are thumbing their noses at people like me, will be doing it forever, because the thing that think we're waiting to be told, we're just not going to be told.

For years, we've been told by our prophets that we need not be commmanded in all things and that those who sit on the sidelines waiting for the prophets to say, "now is the time to reclaim the Constitution" are like the slothful and unwise servants.

It's just not gonna happen, folks. The time to start was years ago.

Jay
