Sweet were great, I love the Give Us a Wink album cover with the eyes:-), not greatest band ever, of course, but fun. Cream--good too, but just evolved into other Clapton endeavors and I'd class them under him as a contender for best individual. Led Zeppelin, is Led Zeppelin. I was with you up till GWAR:-) I like music as heavy as it comes, but GWAR????? Wouldn't you say they ripped off Wendy O Williams' act? Anyhow, you gave me a good laugh:-). Motorhead is great, and Slayer (Seasons in the Abyss was an amazing album). Metallica of today is a bit too mellow, though I really love their new remake of Thin Lizzy's version of Whisky in the Jar. (The U2 version of that is HORRIBLE!!) I prefer Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. Other bands in that genre that I really liked were Pantera (Fucking Hostile was the perfect song to crank up when my neighbours pissed me off) and Slammer X. Of course I dodn't listen to too much that is that Heavy anymore because of my kids--it scares them. Bob Marley should be contention for greatest band ever, but just misses the top group (my kids do like that--we just listened to Uprising this morning). And Nirvana of course. One of my all time favourite bands for sure. I also think Green Day belong there. Your taste seems pretty similar to mine. I even totally agree with most of your pans. Though I do like some Rolling Stones (though certainly not all).

What is your age? 32:-). You can't possibly be too much older than that if you listened to both Sweet and Metallica.
Did you like Budgie?
