That was a pretty interesting site, Rev. Joe, especially the letter to the Sugar Industry. I didn't know about all the slave-labour stuff that been going on with the Indus., but I wouldn't be surprised. It is very sad, the world we live in.

I've been trying to cut down on sugar, a lot. A don't eat pork, I absoulutely HATE hot dogs, and I rarely have red meat (I'm a bit 'put-off' by it). I like poultry, though . . . and eggs. However, I don't often get to eat that stuff. Fish is supposed to be good for both the heart & the brain (and many other things). I've been trying to eat more veggies, pita bread, whole grains, fruits & nuts. I like to use olive oil for cooking. I eat walnuts & almonds for protien. I drink lots of water, orange juice (my favourite), tea, and Soy milk (I love vanilla soy milk on my cereal & in my tea!!!). If I knew how to make more healthy recipes (and if healthy food wasn't so expensive) I'd make a lot more good stuff. I'm not sure how to use spices, for one thing. How do you know what tastes good with what?
