Yes tree hugging and that crap is fine for some people
but the only way in which the human as a animal advances through and obstical is to manipulate and change our enviroment.
Genetic Engineering could mean that we willl be able to feed whole 3rd world nations. It could mean that the eradication of famine and be used to grow organs on animals such as pigs to benefit those that may need organ transplants because of various reasons.
