Subject: Hmmm...let's see. The last movie that sticks out in my mind is Phantom of the Opera. Mixed opinions. I liked pretty much everyone but the Phantom. He was good in some parts/songs, but he clobbered the ending of Music of the Night IMO. The last book I read was "The Last Continent" by Terry Pratchett. Hilarious! I love his stuff. But I didn't get ALL the jokes about Australia in this one. Need to read it again after I brush up on my australian stereotypes and expressions :)

[> [> Don't get me started about the Phantom movie, LOL!! - but seriously, GB did pretty good for a guy who never had a voice lesson in his life prior to getting cast as the Phantom!!! (which is why I am actually more dissappointed in Emmy, because she's supposedly been singing at the Met since she was 7 - but you'd never know it from her bad diction, the "charlotte church lip wabble", and in general, myself knowing who knows how many girls who could sing circles around her (even when they were 17) - Raoul was the only decent casting choice in the whole thing.... -- Aria - I did like it though even though it was done so pathetically, lol - I just wish they would have done it right, evil Joel Shumaker!, 07:19:57 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> [> I wanted to go see it but then I read reviews and they were not very kind so I skipped it. I try not to read reviews because they always cloud my opinion. That is why I try to go see a movie during its first weekend when not too many people have seen it. But then I also hate crowded theaters. Can not win, can I? -- Rosie, 11:08:43 05/06/05 Fri [1]
