Subject: The last movie I saw was Fever Pitch and it was the best chick flick I've seen in a long time...maybe ever. The comedy was great...actual laugh out loud funny that was for anyone...not cheesy funny. Books? Oh yes....I don't get to read those during the school year...but alas it is summer for me!!!! woot woot....and this is why I stopped going to the other board...I missed all the original posters. Nice to see everyone is still around!

[> [> See I just can't figure out why they re-did a movie that isn't that old (and that the original was done with the help of the author of the original novel) - I mean yeah they changed things, but when the original has COLIN FIRTH in it, why make a new one??? LOL!!! (and no I actually haven't even seen the original, lol - but being the Colin Firth fan you know I'd have to have an opinion =) -- Aria, 07:21:39 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> [> I have not seen the movie yet, but I saw part of the interview with the actors. Did you know that one of the scenes was filmed during the World Series game last year? Wow to be there, during the World Series with the Red Sox, they were lucky. And they were told about half an hour before they flow out that they were going. They said that only the main actors went there, no make up people, no extras, they did their own make up, wardrobe, everything. But they got to watch the game. They said every once in a while the directory came and told them to do this and that, but basically they were just themselves. That is kind of weird! -- Rosie, 11:14:15 05/06/05 Fri [1]

[> [> LOL! I heard they had to change the ending after the Red Sox won. I'm not one for romantic comedies...but I generally like Drew Barrymore...so I *might* give it a try -- Canrane, 13:33:06 05/06/05 Fri [1]
