You trekkies NEED to have every little thing stated in a movie or TV episode before you will except anything as the truth. So sad and pathetic you all are. Open your mind's up and use your imagineation once in a while. In Star Wars it is rare that you hear anyone say "The moon is 792000 km away, at full thrust it will take 22.7 minutes to reach it." No they just show'em fly toward the moon. My God did you really expect to find an episode of Trek where they say "I beleive our shields could withstand an assault from an Impreial cruser like the Nebulon B class Escort Frigate" No it ain't gonna happen! Stop looking for answers in Trek techno-babble. Cause ultimatly anything Trek can say in Trekno-babble dialog could be wrong. I've lost count how many mistakes I have caught the writers of Star Trek in. You shouldn't rely on Trek dialog to back up you pathetic claims of speed records and power levels! What you should use is common sense!
