The spelling of hoes presents a unique problem. I think a hoe is a garden tool and nowhere near what the rookie meant. I think the rookie was refering to a ho. However, if you just put an s on the end of ho, you get something that sounds like a character off of gunsmoke. I believe the origin of the word ho is whore. If you take the re of of whore you get who. Surely we're not calling Cindy Lou a ho. Interesting situation. A confused pimp would like opinions. I think the rookie probably did as well as can be done.
