She ignored his grumbling and moved on. The path she took was fresh, for she went a new way every time. That way, no one could follow unless they followed her directly, which was...let us put it bluntly...something just above total lunacy. Her treading led to a shallow creek. With one swift, easy movement, she was over it in a blink. For minutes she wove through the trees and leapt over rotting logs. But finally, they arrived. In a mess of foliage and buds, was nestled a rock formation. Bolder upon bolder, almost to the tops of the trees. The female crept slowly towards the granite, where as you get closer a dark shape is realized.
An opening.
A cave.
Sinking to her white belly, she peered inside.

Look.

She whispered.

But Reaper, darling...make one wrong move and I swear on the only two things important to me that I will turn your hide inside out and eat your liver.

Suprisingly, this was said with a gentle smile.
