 Alexis grinned sheepishly. "Actully I would rather not get dirty, but I have very little choice these days." She looked down at her once pretty dress and then back up to Angie. "I'm kidding. I do not care about things as trival as a little dirt. Come on, lets get him inside."

Each girl grabbed an arm and slowly the pulled the boy into the dark den. A chill ran through Alexis and she briefly wished for Monet and the comfort of her lir form. But being a smart girl she knew that it was unreasonable to wish for such things at this time.

She turned pale eyes to Angie and offered a weak smile. "It is going to be a cold night. Alot of wind and rain. I think our best bet will be for you to sleep on one side of Jeff and I'll sleep on the other. This way we can both keep him warm and offer each other a bit of warmth at the same time."

She shrugged, "At least until we can get our hands on some blankets. What do you think?"

Rio nodded. ::The children will be fine for tonight. I must go and help my lir with the others. You two should go ahead and remain her for this night. Keep an eye on them. Or at least keep an eye out for them::

Monet inclined his head to the smaller wolf. ::We will meet up with you and your lir in the morning. If this small band begins moving any earlier, we will alert you.::

The black wolf turned then and ran lightly through the darkened forest. After awhile the only thing that could be heard from the wolf was a low sad song as she howled to the moon.

Monet smiled at the song and then moved quickly. He dug deeply into the earth making a warm bed for both himself and Gwen. ::Come liren. You are tired and should get some sleep. I will take first watch.::

He watched as Gwen curled her now large frame into the hole he had dug, then he curled her body around hers sealing in the warmth. ::Sleep now Gwen. I will keep your boy safe.::
