 Kira focused her sleep fogged mind as Sema had told him and was amazed to find the famialar pattern of Wes. She squealed slightly as she turned to her companions. "It's Wes and the Jellicle, Nashota!! They are so close it's a wonder Wes has not simply joined us already."

She scooped the wolf cub into her arms and lifted gently into the breeze. "Perhaps if we are quick he has not seen up and we can tumble him!!"

It was a game she had played with Wes many a time, though she knew many times he simply allowed the small elf to believe she had taken him by suprise. Though she was sure she had caught him unaware at least once in their long friendship.

"What do you think Nada? Shall we join with Wes and Nash and then head for your boy?"

The white wolf barked loudly at both Sema and Kira. Her blue eyes where bright in the morning light. ::Yes! Yes we can meet with Wes and then hurry to my warrior. By night fall I am going to see my Dante!!:: She whined lightly, ::I have missed my boy so.::

Kira looked to Sema, "I'll race you." And then she was gone in a blur of blue-black feathers. "Coming?"

Nashota stood smiling at her now human counterpart. Her cobalt eyes, now full color with no white or black showing, where wide with barely contained emotion. She watched as the proud creature worked to steady his now humanly weak legs.

A pale hand touched the jewel at her neck absently as she spoke, "Don't worry Wes. We have each other and THAT is all we need my friend."

She reached out and took his hand into her own and gently pulled him as she set out to walk across the open valley. "It is a beautiful morning. I have a whole new world to explore and new eyes with which to see it." She turned and looked into her black gaze, "What say you? Ready for a 'human' adventure?"

Her step was light as she walked, and she refused to let go of Wes' hand both for fear of him falling and for the comfort it brought her. She was scared. Never in her life had she been without the comfort of the mind link. Evan at such a distance she had always been able to feel her sister. And now... Nothing.
