We were stuck in Florida during Hurricane Frances. We were supposed to return to NJ the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, but we couldn't get home until Tuesday. Gumdrop missed the first day of school! It was a grate vacation, until Frances dropped by. But compared to what the residents of Florida have been going through, it was really small potatoes. At least we had a home to return to.

Hey Sammy, I've been thinking about you with all this news about Merck pulling the Vioxx medicine. Didn't you use that for your arthritis? Is there something else you can use* that will work just as well?

*besides, say, a whole bottle of Jack Daniels...
