Hmmmm...you may be right, though. Maybe you can't go much beyond the burgers, the omelettes, and some good chicken soup at a diner. (And bagels -- it's hard to screw up a bagel.) The only diner where I feel comfortable getting a little adventurous is the Tick Tock Diner on Route 3 in Clifton. Everything I've ever had there has been really good.

I'm sorry you had tummy trouble on Valentine's Day. I hope it didn't ruin the evening for you. ;)
