A "little" leaven leavens the "whole" lump. ONE rotten apple in a barrel of good apples "ruins" the WHOLE BARREL. No way will the good apples renew the rotten apple, although they are many.

Heb 10:28-31
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Most Churches today are not the CHURCH, and the few that are, are falling into the "last days apostasy" really fast. (2 Thess 2:2-3) Most churches of today are plumb full of unbelievers from the pew to the pulpit.

The church building is full of those who don't BELIEVE GOD because they don't FEAR GOD.

Matt 10:28
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD

So-What Now.
2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

CONCLUSION
Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
