From this mornings email bag.

Hello Folks

You know, I've been thinking--again.

The news media tells of Billy Graham coming to Texas Stadium in Irving Texas and drawing large crowds. Have you ever wondered why some "preachers" draw, and most don't?

I have that figured out. I know why some religious figures control such huge audiences. We can name the large crowd gatherers one by one, and they ALL are compromisers of the faith. Every last one of them. A-L-L of them.

Are they famous? Are they well known? Do they draw large crowds? Are they well thought of by the religious? Muslims excluded of course. Do they appears on National Television Networks?

Do they have tons of money? Do they travel abroad regularly? Do they offer Sea Cruises and trips to the "Holy Land" and the Mediterranean? Are their lives ever endangered? These are all clues to look for.

[Tamarisk notes: No, they are not endangered. You'd actually have to preach the gospel on the streets, in front of abortion clinics and in prisons to be considered endangered.]

Large crowds come to see a performance and "many" get saved, over and over and over again. Hundreds. Hundreds of thousands.

Luke 13:23-24 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matt 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Did you get saved as a result of a Billy Graham crusade? Did you get saved "because of" him or "in spite" of him. (Read about him on my web site)

Now you take the God Fearing Missionary. I will. I'll support him too. Well, let's talk about him, shall we?

I know of missionaries with a "God Given" burden to do His work. I know of missionaries in the foreign field to poor to make it back home periodically. They suffer, and their loved ones back in the States also suffer. Will they ever see their son or brother again?

[I think of my good friends, the Burkes' having spent over 20 years in the South African mission field. Dittos for the Carters in China.]

The missionaries' wife? Will the parents, and brothers and sisters ever see her again? They too, have left their families to serve the living God.

Do you know what the God fearing missionary and his spouse have done? They have done Luke 18:28.

Do you know what God will do for them? God will do Luke 18:29-30.

Do missionaries ever go out in the fields on faith? Some of them do. Some of them, as they grow in faith (we are all to grow and kept growing in faith 'till we die) lose their support as they make know the truth as revealed to them by the Holy Spirit as they study to show themselves approved. (2 Tim 2:15)

Well, hush my mouth you say? I am thankful to God that these men do not hush theirs for the sake of support. Many times the going gets tough, and when it does the weak get down on their knees and pray. After awhile they become tough and the tough get going

2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Matt 6:31-34 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

This is a hard saying, who can follow it? Some can.

Now, where was I? You wanna know why you "hardly every" hear of the "little man"? (Unpopular missionary. One who speaks God's Truth)

HE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH FISH IN HIS BASKET.

[Remember, a sucker is a fish. A "sucker" is a follower and not a "Doer of the Word," but a hearer only. There are a great many in the Church of Today being suckered in by false teachers from Hell.]

The missionary that can count his "fish" (saved souls) on one or two hands, AND disciples them, is a hard worker. He not only sows the seed, but also tills the soil and sees to it that the seed grows.

I think all Christians that do not personally work for the Lord ought to support, in some way, those that do. This ministry does in a small way. You got a missionary in mind? Check him out. If he is of God, help support him if he needs it. Most need help. Can't think of anyone. I can. (it's not me folks) Write me and we'll talk.

The churches are falling away from the faith, folks. I know you know that. You have eyes to see and ears to hear and a mind to read, the same as I do. Some of you are "in with" the fallen away churches and flock to the compromisers of the faith once delivered to the saints.

Maybe some of you even flock to the wolves in sheep's clothing/heretics churches and crusades. (those that teach another gospel) Who are these teachers/preachers? Read my web site and my writings and you will come to the knowledge of some of them.

2 Chr 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

But you are sure your heart is for the Lord?

2 Chr 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

Therefore is wrath STILL upon thee from before the LORD.

I can say entertain this uncertainty as the apostle Paul did in his letter to the Romans.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, "if" so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

God knows them that are His. If you be one of His, please help His workers.
