Welcome to the Truth in Posting Reposting. Under the Fair Use section of the U.S.C., I am reposting this from another website for the express purpose of correction and exhortation. ;)

We believe that all the gifts of the Spirit found in 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4, and Romans 12 are valid for today. Each believer is given gifts and callings from the Lord to glorify God and buid up the body of Christ. We encourage believers to seek the gifts and callings that the Lord has placed in his life."

Tamarisk Notes--In my writings titled "The Pastor, The Priest, And The 'Profit,'" I give many examples of what Modern Charismatics preach today. The above lines of this statement led themselves for toward the "Profit" side. There is great profit in perverting Acts 2:38. There is profit in linking "baptismal regeneration;" salvation by speaking in tongues by the laying on of hands or coming up out of the baptismal waters. I've personally attended Charismatic/Third Wave Pentecostal(Vineyard-Lighthouse)churches. It's a good show designed to fill the offering plate. John Wimber, founder of The Vineyard Churches of America, was a master of pragmatic preaching. It is the communist way of mind controlling the masses. If you tell a lie long enough, preach it from the pulpit, etc., the sheeple will accept it as truth.

"We believe that salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned or maintained by any merit on our part.

We believe in the eternal security of the believer. Once truly received, salvation cannot be lost. Salvation comes from grace only through faith only in the atoning work of Jesus at Calvary."

Tamarisk Notes--The paragraph on eternal security and "Once truly received, salvation cannot be lost," is an amazing statement in light of Jackals denial of, what he terms "once saved, always saved" doctrine. This, so called, ministry must not have high standards for the people they elect to their board.(assuming they were elected and not self-appointed for life) In my home church, I put in the last paragraph concerning the Articles of Faith that the Pastor, Associate Pastors, Deacons and Deaconesses must meet annually and affirm the Mission Statement and Articles of Faith. The board needs to be in agreement, and, as I included in the statement, "Anyone not in agreement with the statement as a whole, must in writing to the Pastor, detail their disagreement." Only in agreement can the board bring the Mission Statement and Articles of Faith before the members of the congregation for their final approval. Each and every member of that church, from the pastor down to the usher, has the same, one vote in the affairs of the church.

We believe that at salvation man's sins are not only forgiven but his spirit is made alive to God by the Holy Spirit indwelling it. Man's old nature is destroyed and he is given a new nature that desires to walk in fellowship with God. Man's flesh, his unrenewed mind and body, is still with him and must be brought under control of the Holy Spirit. This is man's responsibility and his reasonable service to God.

We believe that man is made for good works. These works are to follow his salvation and glorify God. Man does not do good works to get saved or to maintain his salvation; rather, man does good works because he is saved.

Tamarisk Comments--Just what are "good works" to the Jackal, Charismatic types? What does it take to become a "member" of his organization? Can one be a member of his corporation if they DO NOT believe tongues are necessary for salvation nor do are they an indication of the indwelling of the Ruach HaKodesh, The Holy Spirit of G_d?

If someone, as a result of these forums, came to Jackals stating they wanted to be "led to the Lord," what would be his response? Since a True, New Testament Church is a Missions/Evangelistic minded church, is Jackals actively seeking new converts to Y'shua(Jesus) through fervent, effectual prayer and preaching of the word based upon the teaching of the Talmidim(disciples/apostles) of the Lord, on the streets of his town?

What about saving babies from the horrible torture of being ripped, torn and sucked out of their mothers' womb by abortion. No abortion clinc in your town, Jackals? Are you actively seeking out the 2nd and 3rd level abortionist and "clinics" in your town. Second level abortions are performed in some doctors office, while 3rd level abortions are typically performed in colleges and universities by medical students looking to make a few extra bucks. Most of the baby executions are performed in 1st level, free standing clinics. These are the known execution chambers in AmeriKa. It will take a letter writing campaign to find the others. You need to have guts and courage to send letters to other doctors, asking for their help in IDing these people. You may have to leave a letter on a posting board in a university asking for assistance in finding these people. My guess is, Jackals would be greatly intimidated by one visit or "run-in" with the police.

How about prisons Jackals? Can you minister in prison to convicts serving time on death row for murder? Child molesters, arsonists, druggies, etc? Understand Jackals, your first priority is the preach them the Gospel Truth. It doesn't matter what names they call you or what they throw at you. I've even had a Muslim threaten me with sending the "muslim hit squad" to kill me. They need Y'shua, period! I don't care what they are in for though I understand the "criminal injustice" system. I term it the "criminal injustice" system because the criminals are in charge of the justice, and you can only get the amount of justice you can afford.(again the profit)

Your typical prison inmate is a shyster, a huckster. They will attend Lord's Day services, bible studies and, even, "walk the walk, and talk the talk" while in the joint. Once paroled, as one guard confided to me, some just throw their bibles in the trash can on their way out of the prison gates. They looked holy for their years in prison, but they don't need "that Jesus stuff anymore." Those are the ones who end up dead or back in the can within a year.

Jackals has many "issues" to pray over concerning "his" ministry.

Inquiring minds just wanna know
