Here is an interesting verse of Scripture:

1 Pet 2:25
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
(KJV)

Yule notice here that the words Shepherd and Bishop are capitalized. This verse is completing Peter's message starting in verse 21. Healing is one primary figure for redemption; coming home is another.

Peter sees that the church was as scattered sheep; now been brought back, and since it is Mechiach who has accomplished this, He is the Shepherd. The word Bishop here, in the Greek, means "manager" in the N.T. and is synonymous with "elder" or "pastor," but applied here to Mechiach as the ultimate Bishop of souls.

This is the great lie and false teachings of the Modern Charismatic/Third Wave Pentecostalism-Vineyard and Lighthouse Movements/Word of Faith, etc. By perverting scripture to meet their pragmatic, and false teachings, THEY become the Bishop of your soul. It's not really Mechiach that saves, according to their heretical teachings, it's THEIR GOOD WORKS, through the made up nonsense they call "unction" or anointing.

1 Tim 3:1-7
1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Having the calling a spiritual gifts of a pastor is a good work. The word "desire" is used here. It is a very strong and intense word. The Lord "draws" men to salvation from within and does the same for service, through placing a desire "to do His good pleasure." This is not to be equated with "burden" for some people or particular field.

Rt Rev's ministry is either a "burden" or a "desire." The Talmidim Sh'aul said "woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel." The call to preach or pastor(to do His good pleasure) is an intense burning desire for this ministry planted in one's heart by G_d.

The Rt Rev should take a long, prayerful look at these qualifications listed by Sh'aul. Some are absolute and some are relative, but one MUST not change nor lower the standard(through false and wrong doctrines and teaching), only do ALL to measure up to G_d's standard.

The Kumbaya/Pacadorian/Koffee Klatch Christian crowd can't buy a vowel concerning the world love. In all their arguments, they have never disproven what we preach here is unloving. You must be ready and "apt to teach." A G_d-called pastor most assuredly has the gift of teaching. A pastor must reach the sinner and teach the saint. To NOT do both is unscriptural and unbalanced.

Rt Rev is a non-descript novice because he does not understand the word ruleth(or rules). It must be done by loving leadership and NOT a dictatorship. Pastor-centered churches never grow and prosper(actually pastor possessed). This, again, is the grave error of Jackals and his pragmatic, Neo-Evangelical "Spirit-Filled Movement.
