I was referring to people who preach AT someone... telling them they are wrong and setting themselves up as the expert.

I agree that we all see it differently and if we feel our way is the right way and present it as the only right way, we WILL tick people off. I never set myself up as a judge. Maybe my church does when it insists it is the only true church, but I don't happen to agree with my church on that issue, as I disagree on others.

What I'm saying is, God is the only judge. He told us to witness for him. I say we witness by showing Christian love and setting a good example, not bludgeoning people over the head with OUR version of the Bible.�

Don't let anyone kid you! It isn't because of your 'personality'! (or lack of it)

It isn't because of your delivery - your language - or the hardness in your words or 'how you present it'.

It isn't the fault of your style, or �PREACHING AT THEM!� - it isn't the fault of anybody other than they themselves.

If compromising with 'em would of won 'em to the Lord,
we would have won 'em a long time ago.

They don't want to hear it. Period.

If a person is truly seeking the truth in life, they will take it anyway you present it - but if they are not seeking, and dori has one of the hardest hearts around, then no matter how wonderful you are in your delivery - how you say it - how great and marvelous your e-mails are, they won't hear it -and they will just get mad at you!

What dori also does not want to accept is that human�s opinions and denominations do not matter. They change and are always in flux. Even her precious apostate church has changed much over the 1500 years, or so, it has been established. That is why I do NOT BELONG TO A DENOMINATION�..(Rev Serpent Egg! Get that straight.) We Cite the Scriptures because they are the WORD OF GOD. They remain constant.

dori is not willing to turn to the 'written' scriptures as the final authority?
