Repost from Tamarisk commenting on Serpent Jack's testimony unto man.

_________________________________________________________

"I was born on October 23, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas to Wayne S. and Willa S. Howell. I was what is commonly called a "military brat" because my father was in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years, and most of my childhood was spent living on SAC Air Force Bases. To make a long story short, after dad retired from the Air Force, we moved to Oklahoma City where my mother is originally from. This was back in the '60s. My church life before coming to Oklahoma was limited to chapel services on the Air Force Bases we lived on. When we moved to Oklahoma, I began attending the Church of Christ since that was the denomination of my mother's side of the family. In my junior year of High School, I began attending a Baptist church, and began feeling the conviction of the Holy Ghost and on May 13, 1973 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Shortly after that, I felt God calling me to preach, so on March 31, 1974, I was licensed to preach the Gospel. In 1976, I was ordained. In 1977, I began to turn away from God after some things happened that hurt me pretty deeply, and I entered the U.S. Army. While stationed in what was then West Germany, I became interested in the Wicca religion and was initiated into the Alexandrian tradition by its founder, Alex Sanders himself after accepting his invitation to come to England on leave. I also studied the Celtic, Seax, Gardenarian, and Ecclectic traditions of Wicca. After my stint in the Army ended, I returned to Oklahoma and went to work for a Christian owned business, and God began working on me and the Holy Ghost began convicting me. Shortly afterward, I gave my life back to Christ and began serving Him as never before! He not only restored me back into fellowship with Him, but He also restored my ministry, and in 1984, I received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. God also began calling me to minister to those ensnared by the cults, and expose false doctrines that have infiltrated the Body of Christ. He has given me a powerful anointing for this area of ministry and a deep love for those so ensnared and deceived by satanic influence.

I presently attend church at Revival For Christ Club International Ministries' Power Cathedral Family Church in Moore, Oklahoma.
I recently affiliated my ministry with Pentecostal Faith Assemblies, Inc., headquarted in Ponca City, Oklahoma (now headquartered in Moore, Oklahoma). This same association also ordained me as an affiliate minister and recently as Bishop.

Today, I can honestly say that I love God more than ever before and am so thankful that He is so merciful and forgiving! I thank Him for restoring me and my ministry! To God be the glory!"

I read this over at another site While I will not contend with the testimony of a Christian, I believe there are some problem areas here.

His whole "testimony" can be summed up in the statement "I felt God calling me to preach." Notice, it was this "feeling," which apparently was not enough in his life to carry him through his "Christian walk."

Jack has all the markings of a "501 c 3" preacher. One bought and paid for by the heretical teachings of cultic churches. His "background" started in the "Church of the (Anti)Christ. His postings at Trinity and WOG indicate that CoC indoctrination. The CoC has people assigned to "new converts." I refer to them such as that in communist countries as "struggle sessions." In communist thought, your thoughts must be reformed to a Marxist/Leninist way of thought. These groups, sometimes lasting hours or days are designed to "break the will" of a person, planting the "party line," into their mind.

This is what the CoC does to its "converts." You are usually assigned a husband/wife team whom you meet with regularly. You answer a series of scripted questions about your life, your sins, shortcomings, etc. Then, this is what the leaders use to "measure" your progress.

If you pinned Jack down, you'd find he was not saved in the first place. Hence, his license and ordination are meaningless. He believes in salvation the Mags way using Acts 2:38, aka, salvation the TBN way. This is why I left Pentecostal type churches and have never looked back. They lack substance in their "Holy Roller" posture. Their "salvation" can only work because of their perverted doctrines and exercises of Scripture stretching.

You might like to find out what "flavor" of Baptist Church licensed and ordained him. Many churches calling themselves Baptist are 501 c 3 establishments. Just another tax collecting dumbed down authority of "Uncle Scam." Jack sounds like that typical, deluded registered pastor today in many of AmeriKa's pulpits.

Questions to Jack about church and clergy registration would be interesting. The Pro-Life Movement. The dumbed-down position of pastors in pulpits today concerning Scriptures such as Romans 13, etc.
