Got a late birthday present from my sister - a VHS tape of VH1's Behind the Scenes Bay City Rollers. God, it's blown my mind! I must be the last person in the US to see it, but it kinda freaked me out. The more recent picks of Woody, Derek, Les and of course, our EricAngel were fabulous to see (even if they do prove my point that women generally age more gracefully than men!) Anyhow, I didn't like how they portrayed Tam Paton. Guess I've got a serious hate on that man, and they almost made it sound like none of that crap was his fault. It also sounded as if Alan, Woody and Derek have kind of made their peace with the situation, and to a lesser degree Eric has too, but not Leslie. I also have to say that seeing the footage of them BACK IN THE DAY was enough to pop these old heart strings again. I don't care what anyone thinks, I knew what I was doin' when I fell in love with these guys so many years ago! Oh! and how about that SKANK (thx DeeJay :-) Caroline Sullivan? I'd love to get a load of her book but I think she's a first class wanker. So what's everyone else's opinion? (and am I crazy or does that darlin' Faulkner boy look a bit like Anthony Hopkins with the beard and the gray?)
