[> Subject: Well, according to Wendy, they are supposed to be released on the bay city rollers.com and amazon and also in barnes and noble just to name a few places, so it seems like this book, shouldn't be too hard to get! I am looking forward to it being released because it has input from the rollers, wayne and also the fans tell their stories and I am one who told a story to wayne, but I don't know if he used it or not. I have to wait and see like everyone else who submitted things. Who knows this maybe my 15 minutes of fame!

[> [> Subject: Oh Faith - so what juicy little tidbits did you tell? If anything you talked about with him gets printed in the book - you might have to clue us in....not sure if he'll be adding people's names with their quotes or not. I'm certainly looking forward to the book.

[> Subject: Well I have been lucky enough to see the Rollers in 4 different states. The story I told was from their very first concert in the us at Atlantic City, Nj on 6/26/76. Ian was with the Rollers then and it was held at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City. They built a new arena and the Rollers were the first to play there. The show was crazy and everyone stood up on the new seats and the next day the newspaper said no damage to theatre only sneaker prints in the seats. (more)

Anywho, what I saw was really funny. Under the steel pier which the Rollers limo came to the concert and also exited. My cousin Kathy and I stood up on the cement aisle leading down to the street, and the Rollers limo came out from the tunnel, we were so excited to see it. When the limo driver got to the end of the tunnel and onto the street he stalled the limo. All you seen was 5 bodies flying forward when he stepped on the brake to restart the limo and put it in park. He restarted the car, put it in drive and really hit the gas. Then as he took off, the 5 bodies of the Rollers flew all over into the back seat. It was really comical and you had to be there to see this. So that is the story that I submitted to Wayne Connie. Hope you enjoyed reading this. Of course just about every Rollershow I went to, had a memory for me. I hope someday, by some miracle they wood tour just one more time as a whole in the states. But one never knows, all we can do is hope.

[> Subject: I hope so too Connie, and I hope there are alot of fans input in there. I think it will make for a great read. It will also be interesting to have input from all the rollers and not just one, after all there are alot of sides to every story and this way maybe we can see how it was for them too and they know what it was like from a fan's view.

[> [> Subject: In my opinion - having the fans point of views is what's going to bring this book over the top. Does anyone know if Eric was interviewed by Wayne for this book? I know some of the Rollers were...
