SECC Alumni Message Center

Southeastern Correctional Center was founded in August of 1976, separating the patient population of MCI-Bridgewater from the SECC prison population. At various times throughout the history of this site dating back to the 1850s, it served as an Almshouse, State Pauper Establishment, State Hospital, and Department for Defective Delinquents. - (http://www.state.ma.us/doc/)

SECC closed it's doors and it's staff was reassigned to other facilities throughout Massachusetts in 2002.
The camaraderie that was established there will be missed by all.
