In reply to: chadi 's message, "How would you react when you got to the slaughter house, and even before when they catched you in the farm?" on 13:04:27 12/01/02 Sun

I do get a little riled en route to the slaughter house; but then again, I get just as upset when the roosters start crowing in the morning because I think the sky is falling. By the time I get to the slaughterhouse, it's all over, and my consciousness merges with the all-that-is, and suddenly I find myself narrating the "American Beauty" movie, and for a moment, I am Kevin Spacey.

I tried self-basting on the farm once, Ms. Yenta, but it made my feathers all sticky!

I guess self basting is akin to the human sin of masturbation. Both leave you sticky and unfulfilled.Glenda Yenta23:09:28 12/01/02 Sun
someone who knows what the past tense of "catch" is, has enough consciousness to fear being killed - specially "slaughtered" - and struggles to avoid pain, unless he/she is a masochist, but even in such case a saddist is needed. (NT)chadi23:23:54 12/01/02 Sun
