Now let's just get this out of the way, this post is by no means definite or saying any of you are wrong. This post is just here to state my opinion on the movies from what I have gather in my warped little mind.

First, though I might have some doubt, I believe that Zion is still a part of the Matrix. If Zion is real, I couldn't see the W. brothers saying that Neo has superhuman powers and now he can take the machines down w/ his magical powers. I don't know about you, but to me it sounds stupid and will make the third movie sh**y as hell.
I don't see how many of you can say that Zion being fake is not a big twist in the movie. As I see it, overall, is it a big twist. In the first movie we were lead to believe that Zion is real and there is a chance to escape the matrix. Now, in the second movie we are given clues that Zion might be another part of the matrix. We are not told full out though if it is. We are not told that the humans never had control. They were never free of the matrix. I see this as a big twist. The machines created 2 matrices. If the humans rejected one, they were lead to believe that the second one was real and they accepted it with no questions.

Second, I believe that Neo is a program. Now you might be askin why the hell do I think that and wouldn't he see himself as a program? Well if he is a program, he has boundries. He is only programmed to DO and SEE what he was programmed to do. But we also know that he is breaking some of those boundries.....like developing a love for Trinity. In all the five other matrices The One did exactly what he was programmed to do because he developed a general love. However the new ONE developed a specific love, he is changing the predictable pattern. I wasn't fully sure about this theory until I saw reloaded for the 4th time. The arcitect says something that caught my attention. The One was DESIGNED to attain a general love... ya da ya da. DESIGNED...if Neo is human and he has free will, how can you program a mind to do a specific task and make sure it doesn't stray of track. This is why I believe he is a program. The One was designed to view the world of the matrix and zion and realize flaws in them. He would develope a love for the humans so he would go back to the source. When he was inserted into the source, these flaws would be recognized and fixed. The 2 matrices would be reprogramed and rebooted. The newly updated matrices would be one step closer to perfection, one step closer to reality. But we know that the path of the one is going off track.

This is where the third movie comes in. I believe Neo will finally discover the truth: No one is free of the matrix and he is another program. This will be your big twist. Neo will make a choice. He will continue to fight for the humans. He will turn against his makers. Many of you think that Neo will die. Well if he does end up destroying the matrix, he would be killing himself too because he is a part of the system. However, we know that the matrix will continue because of the online game that was confirmed to carry the story after the movies. So maybe Neo will be deleted because he has gotten too out of control.

As I have said these are just my opinions and I could be totally wrong. Knock them down all you want, but my only real point is how can you say that Zion being part of the Matrix is NOT a big twist in the story? How can you say that no one is really free is not a big twist? How can you say that everything we were lead to believe is false, is not a twist?
