I too thought Bonnie and Bridgette were very talented for being as young as they are - both 20 years old. Their original songs were quite good. Bridgette defined authenticity just as Peterson did in "Creating Country Music" - original, unique and distincitive. Their stories and decriptions of bluegrass festivals went right along with what Gardner said in his paper " The Portable Community: Mobility and Moderization in Bluegrass Festival Life". Bonnie and Bridgette talked of the campers and tents, how areas were decorated with different themes, how eveyone shared food and all the various jam sessions. Bridgette even shared their thoughts on how the campground and jam sessions drew more people to the festivals than the main stage performances.
