I thought that Homeysuckle Rose's performance on thursday was extremely relevant to the article by Gardner we read for today. I loved the way that they talked about the community of bluegrass festivals and it seemed that they had read the article that we had read for thursday even though I dont think they did. I'm not a bluegrass music fan, but hearing them talk about the festivals really made me want to go to one. I would love to experience that sense of family and community that they (and the article talked about) when going to a festival. It also made me want to start playing an instrument!
