 Hope that the court verdict on Anwar next week is a just one and trust that if it is "not gulty", it would put an end to the Government's persecution of political enemies on sex charges.

Overseas we watch with great interest, amazement and sometimes amusement to think that if Australia had similar laws covering sodomy and homosexuality - we would have our Finance Minister Penny Wong (open lesbian) and Bob Brown (gay Greens Leader who is reputed to hold the real authority and balace of power in the present Gillard minority Government) locked up in jail perpetually.

This is not to mention quite a few of our Federal Parliamentarians who are openly gay and attend official functions with their partners.
As a matter of fact, the incumbent Labor Party Government has granted their Parliamentarians an 'open' vote on same sex marriage when a Federal bill is introduced sometime this year on the subject.

Don't worry about the economy. GFC or European debt - we have much better things to debate......that is, whether our Gays can commit sodomy as a legal couple and lesbians being able to legalise their partnership (adopt babies, etc).
Of course Sydney also holds the world famous 'Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras' once a year.

Now you can see why I say "we watch with amazement and amusement".
Makes you wonder whether which current is better - AC or DC?


This is only an observation viewpoint - don't feel tempted to reply because of your Malaysian censorship/publication laws.
