You know my story....somewhat, but here is some food for thought.
In January, 2005, my husband got busted for what he is in prison for now. He lied to me about it being meth related, and hid behind his mental illness. He was only in jail for 17 days before he was released on his own recognisance (sp?).
I'm not sure when it started, it may have been immediately, but for the next two months, he used alcohol and pot behind my back. He even hid his mail from the inmates he was incarcerated with. He would let our son's juice caps off the juice, and let it ferment so he could try to get drunk off of it...I wondered why we had so many fruit flies. When I cleaned out the kitchen I found lots of empty booze bottles, baggies, an icecream tub full of juice with potatoes in it (he said he was making hooch--how ignorant).
Once he was incarcerated in August, people would tell me how he would show up with beer in his hand, etc.
I can peg it to the day when he started with meth again. It only took about two months. Everything went downhill from there.
So...no truth, no counseling, no rehab, no sobriety...AT ALL!
You knew before you even asked the board....
What tells us the truth is attitude or humility. No testing is necessary. Don't lose sight of that. Based on this statement alone, do your research to find out what you need to.
Any law enforcement should understand...he is a meth addict that has not gone through any treatment, nor does he feel any remorse, and I feel he is a threat to myself and my children.
You have an attorney...ask him or her instead of getting yourself all worked up about what you need and don't need. Let that attorney earn their money!
