Finding flesh between his jaws, Demon crunched down hard before whirling and stalking away. It seemed he may have gotten his senses back...Suddenly, he whirled and raced towards Brechins' low-slung frame, planning to get the wolf away from his prey...

Chijiresusu snarled lightly as Demon turned away..she didn't quite trust his movements. As she saw Demon whirl, she leapt forward, jaws attacking in exactly the same fashion as Demons' did...

With the speed of lightning, a silver blur had sideswiped Demon and sent him sprawling in the snow to slide a few feet, his form making an eerie rasping sound as he slid. With the silence that fell over the other wolves, loud snarls and demonic growls echoed as Chijiresusu confronted the demon. She dodged in and snapped at his muzzle to get his attention before leaping away lithely.

Demon leapt up towards the nuisance, not knowing it was his sibling. His jaws tried to lash here and there, but he could never seem to get a hold of her. This began to anger him, causing the whirling red to swirl faster, his mind gradually losing its' touch.

Diablo leapt in from the other side, jaws moving the same way. He didn't plan to actually harm his brother, but to calm him. Diablo and Chijiresusu were forcing their brother back, away from the others-what they were going to do to calm him had to be kept secret, for the sake of Demon. He leapt to the side as a well-aimed snap nearly tore his shoulder out, and stepped forward to throw his weight into the raging one, until a thick screen of bushes hid them all.

Chijiresusu leapt onto Demons' thrashing frame, JAws closing tight on his throat. She used her weight to make sure he didn't try to tear out of her grip, for one so crazy just might.

Demon struggled, and finally twisted his crania to snap at Chijiresusu-oh glory, he had caught flesh. His jaws sought to dive into more, but Chijiresusu was no longer there.

Chijiresusu released him from her grip as the intense pain flowed through her, and leapt backwards as blood dripped from a gash in her chest. She shot a glance at Diablo, they knew what they had to do next. She hated to do it, but they had to, it was either them, or him. At the same time, two streaks of lightning shot forward, towards Demon. This would hopefully knock him out, and leave his subconcious the job of 'Taming the Demon' mentally.

Demon was confusd when both forms leapt away. Scared? A knowing smirk crossed his maw, and he turned to attack Diablo...Suddenly both forms sandwiched him between their attacking forms, and all went dark.

Chijiresusu stood panting over her brothers mangled form, her weight shifting from on paw to another. SHe looked back at the war zone that had been caused over a friendly fight, and shook her head. She was angry, angry enough to kill, but a grat sadness was stirred in her heart whenever it happened. She gazed down at her disturbed brother, orbs filling. She spoke softly to Diablo, though her tears did not fall and her gaze remained locked on the unconcious form of Demon.

"...It should have been me."

Although she knew she probably wouldn't have been able to handle such a curse as well as he did, there was always that guilt that ran its' course. She turned, and slipped out of the shadows, and began to pad back to Brecchin and Letha, paws hitting the bloody snow and sometimes stepping in pools of blood. She didn't care that there was one of them dead, for she had not met him. Long ago had she hardened her heart to stone, so others could not break in. It was still the same as ever, a sort of solemn uncaring as she stepped over the corpse. Her shoulders rose and fell rythmically with each step, her face a mask, hiding the pain she felt expertly.

Diablo shook his head at Chijiresusu's words, but said nothing and simply fell into step beside her. His own expression was stony, but nothing else was allowed behind it, not even his sister could decipher it.

Nikira cowerd in the underbrush nearby, trembling profusely, dark orbs over-flowing with tears. SHe had hunched herself into a small ball, waiting for the terror to end, waiting for it to release its' grip and allow her to breathe. She was breathing in choked, panicky sobs, a soft whimper escpaing her with each exhalation. Her auds were clenched tightly to her skull, muzzle buried in her soft fur as her tail wrapped as best it could around her shaking frame. SHe was terrified, memories having run their course. She remained cowering, unwilling to move until she was sure that demon wasn't going to attack her.
