I can't help but wonder why you would feel that we have the best Congressional delegation. Bernie is taken seriously by no one, Jeffords lost most of his friends within the Senate because of his childish tantrum and jumping ship and Leahy is one of the least respected Senators on the hill even among some in his own party that hold his obstruction in the judiciary up as one of the main reasons the Dems lost ground in the last eloection. Not to mention that he didn't get the nickname Leaky Leahy for nothing. I know, I know that was a long time ago and we should get over it. Bottom line is that we have a delegation that has been relegated to obscurity and only the most partisan of individuals would refuse to see that. Obviously as a Vter I want our delegation to be effective regardless of party but I won't put my head in the sand and support people that are not only ineffective but in some cases very deceptive in their ways. The only one I would trust to tell me the truth is Bernie and although I hold different views than he does I can at least respect him for the fact that he is sincere in his beliefs.
