Yeah Pete's review and others pretty much "made" me go buy it :). Actually, surprisingly, my friend Tim/Fluxy's video to this is what really made me want to see it. Here is the link, it's debateably one of my favorite Drama videos...I'd say any video that is dramatic to me even when I haven't seen the show is good :)

Well I've heard that if I like Eva, I'll like Rah Xephon. At the same time, I argue that well...it isn't always possible to do that kind of linear comparison. I like Eva since it's unique and for something to just copy it is to well...make something like Gasaraki (or so I've heard...didn't watch this either (ducks))

O_o Boo! Oh well, I guess I can see why you wouldn't like it, but this one of the *very* few comedy/slap-stick-like animes I can enjoy. I don't generally like shows that aren't sci-fi, fantasy or some sort of epic story, but well...like I said it's one of the few (as well as AMG and Kare Kano (although this has good characters too)). This is of course seen in my dislike for Digi Charat (ducks), CCS (ducks again) and so on. I don't think I can even take more than one episode of Excel Saga.

Wow, very good reply. I'd have to say I agree. I mean I of course am not watching anime to be "ahead" or whatever. You're right in that it's about enjoying this hobby (and for it to be a competition negates that hobby and fun part). Wow...insightful comment on something I should've already known. I guess it's just that obligation (which doesn't really exist) that makes me feel bad since I have seen like...nothing (apparently). You should see it on the AMV.org forums...I can only reply to the Esca/Eva/Kenshin/Bebop threads :-P
