I just wanted to wish you all a joyous Solstice, merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year for you and your loved ones.
I wish I had time to stay and visit. The Magic Box looks so beautiful with the snow falling on the tree (and the counter....and the books...). I hope to be back soon to do some proper responses, but until then you are all in my thoughts.
A vortex opens in the middle of the floor. It glows red in its depths, and the few drifting flakes of snow that venture too near disappear with a hiss of steam. She gives the peaceful shop one last all-inclusive glance, takes a deep breath, and plunges back into Real Life.
